Fun House Pizza — Restaurant in Blue Springs

Horrible food and service!!! I took my two sons (ages 5 & 3) there this evening because our other local pizza joint unexpectedly closed. I have taken them to Chucky Cheese several times, and I understand you don't go to Chucky Cheese for the food quality, but rather you go there for the kids' entertainment. However, I expected a little more from both the food quality and the service at Fun House. We ordered a medium half and half pizza of ham & sausage and combo, along with some breadsticks. The meat on the pizza was of so poor quality, that the pizza was soaked in grease. I had one slice and it made me ill. The breadsticks came out 10-15 minutes after the pizza was brought out to us. At least they were edible. We at three slices of the pizza and returned the rest to the counter. Every table in the dining room was dirty when we walked in, and they were not even busy. You would think that a place called Fun House Pizza who would market to kids, would have a select choice of drinks for kids. They had bottled water, and that was it for kids. No lemonade, apple juice or milk. The other drink choices they had was three kids of Coke products and two choices of Bud and Bud Light bottled beer. I am not one to write a review or complain because customer service has just gone out the window this day and age. Due to health reasons, my husband and I always bring in non-alcoholic drinks to dine on pizza; (I just can't drink water with pizza. Haha) He can't have caffeine and I'm HIGHLY allergic to corn syrup, so thus - no soda. We had decaffeinated tea and I had cane sugar Creme Soda. We REALLY like FUNHOUSE pizza so imagine our disappointment when we arrived Aug. 1, 2019 evening and were told we couldn't bring in our drinks due to Health Dept regulations. We left and went to Minsky's. Prior to ordering, I asked about the Health Dept regulations; they had NO idea what I was talking about and allowed us to bring in our drinks when I explained why we were asking. Minsky's is good pizza but it's not our favorite, FUNHOUSE. Granted, we could have ordered and taken back home but we were on our way out for the evening. Had the Fun House order taker told us bringing in drinks was against company policy, we maybe could have understood a little better but very few other establishments deny us bringing in our own drinks. So sorry we had this bad experience with Blue...

Took my 5year old daughter here to play games and dine in. The TVs didn't work, less than 5 "games" to play (none are actual arcade games, just turn knob and bouncie ball despensers), change machine didnt work, bathroom dirty and out of towels, clown decor creepy. We got our mexican pizza in good time but the bottom was rock hard and had a ton of large jalapeño slices.

As we were leaving, I stop to talk with the worker at the register. I asked him why anyone would want to come here? No real arcade/half the stuff broken or not on/pizza rock hard bottom and over priced imo. The reply I got was "owner doesn't want to fix anything, this is mainly a delivery pizza place. Another location is better..."

Zero star rating from me. This place deserves some time on a restraunt disaster tv show. Hope it gets better because it can't get...
