Chill-N Ice Cream Bluffton — Restaurant in Bluffton

I believe this small establishment houses the best tasting ice cream the world has ever known. The first time I came here, I ordered banana and peanut butter ice cream mixed together and it was love at first taste. I can tell that the ice cream is made with fresh, all-natural ingredients. The texture of the ice cream is silky smooth and sticks to your spoon in a heap of creamy goodness. The ice cream doesn't melt too quickly- probably due to the fact that it's flash frozen in -300 F. What surprised me even more was the fact that you can CLEARLY taste the banana and peanut butter- perfectly! The ice cream is brilliant by itself- without any toppings whatsoever! I loved my first ice cream so much that I went back for another one a few days after! I am now big fan of this place and I'm hooked. If you want the best darn cup of ice cream in the entire South Carolina, just drop into this gem and get any flavor you like- and I can almost guarantee your mind will be blown beyond belief. It's like heaven in a cup, and when you have one, you'll want to come back for much more!

My only gripe is that they should upsize their operations and get more workers to handle the amount of demand that they receive! It gets busy here quite often because it is so popular now. They should open more Chill'n(s) across the state because this stuff is AMAZING. I definitely recommend that they increase the size of their building because they're gonna need to make room for tons more customers and employees! This place is OUT OF THIS...

Because Of the price point, I have to sort of compare it to parallel price points for frozen desserts; specifically Hilton head ice cream over by New Orleans Rd. and then the gelato place over by Village at Wexford, which is only open during months of tourism.

All three are about the same price

really could not taste either of the banana nor the coconut, But of course, the texture of the coconut

Now, if you were to find some gelato that was banana flavored or coconut flavored or pistachio flavored, flavor would hit you like a sledgehammer?

The product is good, the service is aweful! Myself and my family have been numerous times and every time no one smiles, it’s like you are bothering them when you order and that’s if they take your order or just watch you order on the kiosk. Today was the last straw, my husband and I both ordered a regular size and this is what was placed on the counter. When my husband asked, the young girl snidely said yeah we had extra in the bowl and gave you more on that one. He asked to please fix it and she said she couldn’t. We sat and watched while eating our ice cream and EVERY other order looked like my husbands. You sell ice cream…it should be a happy, welcoming, customer experience place! We will not be back.
