Let me first start by saying I don't live here and only came here in hopes of grabbing a few slices of pizza after a long shopping trip at Home Depot. Walked inside and was greeted by a lady who said 2, I said no we're not eating there but I wanted to know if you sell pizza by the slice. She said yes, handed me a menu and said all of the pizzas with red sauce are by the slice. I ordered 6 slices of pizza and she told me the total, I handed her my card without even thinking and paid. She said it would be about 10 min and she walked away. My daughter was with me and said mom, how did you just pay $49 for 6 slices of pizza. It then hit me. I said wait, slices of pizza are 3.50 per slice. When the lady came back over to where I was I said excuse me, I think the register charged me twice for everything. She quickly and rudly said no, there are extra charges for every topping you added to the pizza. I was instantly irritated and disappointed! Why in the world would any person, better yet employee allow someone to pay 49.00 for 6 slices of pizza when an entire 16" pizza costs $32.00. Just reliving this infuriates me. How incredibly ignorant! And mind you, when she said pizza is available by the slice only for red sauce pizzas she NEVER said, but all toppings are extra money. When we got into the car less than 2 min after receiving the pizza and started eating it, the pizza was cold, the topping were cold and the veggies were raw. I lifted the pizza and it appeared to have no crust under the pizza from the middle to the end. All in all very disappointing and guarantee I'll never be back. I requested through the website for someone to contact me which has yet to happen.

Being a Brooklyn girl living in the heart of Dixie, it's been a real challenge to find decent pizza (among other comfort foods!) NYCP is, by FAR, the best pizza and Italian food in the low country. They definitely know how to prepare and cook New York Italian food! The sauce is not too tangy, not too sweet (as most southern pizza is -gross!-) and it's obvious they take great pride in their New York heritage 😊 The regular round pie is as close as you will get to Brooklyn pizza down here. Trust me, I've tried MANY! We drive 45 minutes there and back just for pizza! Also of note: their arancini (rice balls) are ON POINT, as are the zucchini sticks, veal parm, and eggplant rollatini. The salad with house dressing is also DELISH! I highly recommend NYCP! We go to the Bluffton location, but I've heard they are all equally wonderful.

The food and service is really good. Pizza tastes like what I use to eat in Long Island. Plus the young blond waitress makes the best Long Island Tea I have ever had! Sorry that I don’t remember her name, but she has been working at the Buckwalter location since they opened. She took a picture of me and my friend last week when we had lunch there. I recommend New York Pizza. Miriam T.

Staffing is the worst there, specifically one server. Amber. Terrible establishment. The turnover rate is never a good thing either. I would not go there nor would I respect the manager who came in & disrespected me & my friends after their server verbally assaulted me to say I need to leave. My four friends & I came there and had menus after being sat, which was ā€œsit whereverā€. Mind you the pizza guy was passive aggressive also & talked very rudely. I have prior issues with Amber being she had me deposit a $1,036 check into my acct via mobile from Nycp to give her the money since she couldn’t get a bank acct. I sent it to her via cash app & she deposited it somewhere in Hampton behind my back when I had asked her to write void. I looked at my acct & contacted amber as I had trusted her at the time & low & behold she ignored the situation. I took it into my own hands & contacted the owners of NYCP & they are the ones who gave me the information that it had been cashed. My bank then said it would take time to find out why..a couple days later, showed duplicate presentation & went as far as finding out what bank she had it cashed at. Unfortunately, the check had bounced in which I contacted the managers as I was working there & just wanted it to be made right but she continues to lie even though we all really who who she is. She still to this day hasn’t paid me back but continues you to talk about the way people tip her & so forth. I wonder why. She got not only my hard working money but she got her check as well. Also to be honest, I didn’t even want to go to this restaurant but my friends said I want pizza & it was the closest to us. Terribly ran, horrible staff hired needless to say. Experience it yourself, do NOT recommend going at ALL! If you do, save yourself the drive & go to Buckwalter NYCP. Jessica, the manager, has always taken care of me whereas Natalie, the one at Belfair does not & always states that’s the Belfair store is hers as if she owns the spot, which she does not. She is extremely rude to employees as I’ve experienced it myself & so have others. So take my advice, try another pizza spot such as the BUCKWALTER location in Nycp, Giuseppe’s, Local Pie, or Uppercrust. Much better service and...

Went there to pick up my food first off they gave it to the wrong person. They had a margarita pie waiting for the other person so I took that worst margarita pie ever had in my lifetime ultimatum sauce. The little bit of mozzarella on it wasn’t even melted absolutely horrendous. Also had a meatball Parm. The meatballs were decent sandwich was very dry. Hardly any sauce. Also, I had an eggplant Parmesan sandwich only one slice of eggplant on the whole sandwich. Don’t understand how they could be charging $17 for those sandwiches and they’re only 8 inch long and I only have one piece of eggplant on it. Also, when I first walked in, I saw the pizza guy eating a slice of pizza bare handed. . Also, when I first walked in, I saw the pizza guy eating a slice of pizza bare handed behind the counter. And he didn’t even wash his hands when he was finished, and the other cook was standing between the kitchen and the pizza counter eating food out of a container absolutely disgusting. The food was the worst I’ve ever had. We’ll definitely not be going back to this place pizza used to be good Now it’s the...
