VILLAGE RESTAURANT — Restaurant in Boardman

This restaurant’s quality has gone down tremendously over the last few years. Completely over priced and haven’t had good service.

I don’t normally leave reviews but today I am.

I called and placed a to-go order at 20:18 to place 2 orders of Fajitas, no rice or beans. The waitress confused the to orders with two different items on the menu. After getting the orders correct my total came out $50. She told me it was going to be 20 minutes and hung up on me.

At 20:21 I called back to cancel the order, because now way am I paying that much. The same waitress picked up the phone and proceeded to tell me that because I was canceling the order she needed my name and phone number to tell the owner. When asked why, she stated that she had to tell the owner because my cancelled order comes out of her paycheck. I gladly agreed and gave her my information and told her as someone who used to work in the service industry, that shouldn’t be on the waitress. It should be the company’s responsibility.

There’s only 2 sit down Mexican restaurants in town. I much prefer the other one. Better quality...

Employees at McDonald's are BETTER than here!

I had just finished having a panic attack and my husband thought it'd be a good idea to bring home some food. So we went over to pick something up. We just moved here and was looking forward to trying something new. The employees were extremely rude and wouldn't speak with us even though we were the only ones there. They spoke in Spanglish back and forth to eachother. We asked if they were open, as online it said there was an hour before closing and there was three different "open" signs on. They just looked at us and walked away. The people in the kitchen spoke very rudely about me and my husband in Spanish. As they had assumed we wouldn't understand the language.

I've never felt so unwelcome somewhere before. And it did not help my fragile mental health at the time. I will never go back to such a horrible...

The food was good, however service was the worst we ever had, waitress Jamie did not check on us but 2 times. My husband had to ask the dishwasher boy if he could get another beverage and "10" minutes later he still had not got it. I had to get up to go ask for it, and a different waitress brought it to him. My drink was so thick I couldn't even get anything through the straw, when Jamie brought our dinner to us 25 minutes later from the time we got there, she said she would see if they could make me a different one. She came back again after we ate our dinner another "15" minutes later and said they were going to make me another drink. My husband said nevermind now we're done with dinner we want our check and will not be paying for the drink. They were not...
