10/12/19 @ 8:46pm: So I requested a jitterbug concrete with cheesecake bites. Which consisted of heath bar, espresso & almonds. I am use to them placing the bites on top at other locations. At this particular location they "blend them in". As I am eating away there is absolutely NO cheesecake bites in the jitterbug concrete. Per the employee at the window the manager made it himself & did "mix it in". First of all, you did not ask if I want it blended in so just admit you FORGOT to add them (fyi my cousin provided cheesecake bites from her brownie sundae... complete difference. She did their job for them!). It's a bright idea to place them on top so the customer is well aware they got their money's worth (duh and/or hello!). Second of all, no apology was given for the inconvenience & made it seem like we wanted free cheesecake bites (LOL we truly don't). Third of all, I was given the jitterbug back from the drive-thru employee in a manner like we were annoying them (rude). Also if you're going to have employees outside in the cold taking orders at least give them a winter hat with the Andy's logo on it instead of a baseball cap. We also noticed there were no females working there, an all male staff (sexist much?). As a first time customer we will NEVER return here again & it wasn't even that busy to mess up a simple order. Maybe if a female was there it would have been done correctly. Instead we will go down the street to the 230 S. Weber Bolingbrook location where they are more cooperative with plenty of female staff members as well. This information will be provided to the corporate office for they obviously need to take more training courses especially in customer service....

Update: this place is so inconsistent. I went back several times. Infacr, at one point I was going there atleast once a week because my kids over this. Out of say 10 visits, my James brownie funkie jackhammer was amazing once. The rest, meh. They always cheap out on the chocolate syrup, or give hard ass brownies. I always use to specify to not be cheap with the syrup and stuff. It sucks because I think the ice cream is amazing.
I’ve never had a bad experience at Andy’s except this time. I always get the James brownie funky jackhammer.
About halfway through it, I start to wonder where the brownie is, the brownie is still a whole piece and the hardest damn brownie I’ve had in my life. I ask the server if she had a metal spoon that I could use everything to break it up, she says all she has is the plastic spoons. I asked her if there’s any way she can break it up and she replies that she can’t take it back - which isn’t what I was asking and she goes back to what she was doing.
I’m a big fan of Andy's and have always enjoyed it, but I don’t think I’ll be going back to this one. I’ve always had an amazing experience and great customer service at the one in Lagrange. I wish there was one downtown since that’s where I live.
