Taco Bell — Restaurant in Bolingbrook

Taco bell in Bolingbrook usually has decent service and the food is acceptable for fast food, until Sunday October 31st around 10:21pm.

1st of all the line was literally wrapped around the building, but ok I was crazy enough to wait. I ordered an Nachos Bell Grande, Cheezy Gordita Crunch Taco and a Cheese Quesadilla. I finally, get to the window after checking my order I noticed there was no tomatoes on the Nacho Bell Grande. The guy at the window said they ran out of tomatoes and offered me another topping on the side.

After leaving the window I opened the Gordita Crunch taco and noticed there was very minimal cheese and not much of anything else.

So the line was still ridiculous, so I attempted to call but got no answer. I called on Monday afternoon and spoke to a manager named Balta who eventually apologized and offered a refund or to replace the order. I opted for the replacement.

I went to the Bolingbrook Taco Bell on my lunch break on Tuesday November 2nd arriving in the drive thru around 1:30pm. Everything was ok until I got to the window and received horrible customer service. I handed the lady at the window my receipt from Sunday and explained I had spoken to a manager about replacing this order. She immediately replied in a real nasty manner YOU SHOULD HAVE TOLD ME THAT AT THE SPEAKER! I couldn't believe the level of customer service displayed by this person. Then she kept both receipts and claimed she needed them for proof.

This Taco Bell has been in Bolingbrook for years. I remember it was my favorite place to go in the 90s. It has come a long way for a franchise store. This store is not managed by corporate, so it may be why it isn't like other Taco Bells. Anyways, in recent times, it has updated its inside decor (tvs, loudspeakers, new menu styles, etc). On the outside it has upgraded the drive thru, which now features 2 order booths. Which is nice on the busy days.

The food here is always on point. Its the right weight, they stuff the tacos and burritos well and serve quite quickly. Yeah sometimes they may goof up and order, but I notice that is only when you make a special order, for example: ordering substituted beans instead of beef or fresco style instead of regular, other than that I have never had problems, that too, it only happens in drive-thru, once in a long while. If you order in doors, you shouldn't have any trouble. The staff are all hispanic, but they have good chemistry and so your order always comes out accurate. I suggest trying this taco bell, because they make their food really fast and good. Plus they often offer the cinnamon twists or empanadas whenever they mess up your order in-doors. Besides, its the only Taco Bell is Bolingbrook, unfortunately. But they do...

So I decided to get the Taco Bell app to speed things up like with Starbucks and Panera bread. I ordered a few meals for me and my wife. I even had to use my credit card to place the order. When I finished the app said they will start to make the food once you arrive. That doesn’t make sense. I pulled into the drive through and told them to start the order. I pulled up to the drive through window and waited a minute. The person told me to pull forward. I waited several minutes while watching the app on my phone. It finally said my order was ready. I kid you not, I waited five minutes after that to get my food. I took screenshots on my phone of the progress and the moment they brought the food to my car. I do not want to post the picture of the employee in case there is a legal issue. I just wanted proof for TacoBell head quarters. It fell on deaf ears. Just imagine if you find something wrong with their class “E” edible meat. I found out that from a past customer of mine who owned 27 restaurants in IL and WI. I left a review message on the app and asked for them to get back to me. Final words, Do not use this restaurant. No one cares about you even with the app. They just want to market to you for free. Why let them waste...
