FH JerkGOD — Restaurant in Bolingbrook

I will revisit and update review down the road if things change. I did enjoy the food.

BUT

I put in an online order for 4 wings and Mac and cheese lunch for 12:05pm pick up. When I arrived around 12:00pm they said it would be 25 minutes on the wings. Okay no problem. I wait patiently for about a half hour. Still not done. So I wait a little longer and show my online order to the young man that was working up front. He goes back and they say they’re working on it. Still no order. It’s now 1:00pm and I am suppose to be back at work and I still don’t have my food. I finally get the attention of the other gentlemen that was cooking in the kitchen and asked if they were still working on my wings and mac and cheese. He said the other guy was boxing up my food now. When I get back to work. It’s chopped chicken and Mac and cheese. Not wings. Flavors are there but they need more staff or a better system because you cannot run a successful restaurant that way. After an hour of waiting my order was incorrect. Overall bad experience for what could’ve been good food at a regular lunch...

Excited to hear new jerk spot in the area wanted to try it out..Went on a Saturday I did come a little late around 730 but called before I went to see if I would still be able to place an order and was told what they were sold out of which I appreciate just in case thats what I was looking for COOL it is late so I will find something on the menu..Made it there the gentleman at the counter very welcoming gave me a few recommendations since it was my 1st time placed my order while attempting to pay the register went down in the process of the gentleman attempting to fix it a lady comes from the back and while they are conversing about how to fix the problem with the register she proceeds to say very loudly to him THATS BECAUSE WE ARE DONE FOR THE DAY..umm I get that it's 20 minutes before closing but there's about 5 people in line behind me and there is a way to behave in front of customers and this isn't it..Lock the doors or something but to yell that out in front of a line of people yeah nope went right to Portillos where they were willing to...

My first time there and not my last bet that! Mya was absolutely amazing down to Earth and let me know her favorites and top picks. I came for the Jerk tacos and wasn't disappointed at all!!! I would highly suggest to chop the spring mix a down a bit especially for the uploads but I have no picks because I couldn't wait to get home to reheat the ones I didn't eat in the car lol that big back in me lol burned the upper roof of my mouth should've used the air fryer. I pray God sends the staff so the customers will be out the door. This location is the closet to my church and better believe Saturday and Sunday after Service we'll be in there Please please please add a little aioli sauce cup on the side I needed more sauce but everything else was great. I didn't mind the wait time because Mya was very welcoming when I was asking about the menu for my son's dietary limitations to know what he can have and have sauces on the side. That jerk will creep up on you but it's so good I like the spice and can't wait to try more items😋😋😋😋😋...
