Edit Having previously ordered from this restaurant through Uber, I decided to visit in person to compare the onsite experience. The consistency between the two experiences reassured me of the restaurant's quality. Starting with drinks, we opted for the Korean beer Sapporo, which turned out to be a fantastic choice. Its refreshing taste set a positive tone for the evening. Moving on to appetizers, we tried both the pork buns and the Korean tacos. The Korean tacos were generously sized and incredibly filling. Personally, I couldn't get enough of the delicious pork buns – a flavor explosion that left a lasting impression. For the main course, we ordered the buldak and house fried rice. The buldak was good, delivering on flavor, while the house fried rice had a hint of sweetness that might not be to everyone's liking. In summary, my overall opinion remains unchanged – this is a genuinely nice place. The diverse menu, coupled with consistent quality, makes it a reliable choice for a delightful dining experience. Looking forward to returning and exploring more of their offerings.

I recently ordered from Bonchon Bolingbrook through Uber Eats, and I must say, it was a culinary delight! The Korean BBQ Chicken and Spicy Chicken Sliders were nothing short of amazing, making this my new go-to place for wings.

The Korean BBQ Chicken was a revelation of flavors. The marinade was rich and savory, infusing the chicken with a perfect blend of sweetness and smokiness. Each wing was meticulously cooked to perfection, achieving a delightful crispiness that added an extra layer of satisfaction to every bite.

The Spicy Chicken Sliders were a fiery adventure for my taste buds. The level of spice was just right – enough to excite the palate without overpowering the other flavors. The sliders were a perfect size, allowing me to savor the bold taste of the spicy chicken without feeling overwhelmed.

(+2.175 ⭐️) Food & Drink: having only been recently introduced to the Bonchon establishment by a friend & colleague, I am not sure if the in-restaurant bar is a standard fixture or something that is unique to this location. Regardless, there are an abundance of beverages (both U21 and 21+) to select from whether one is dining in or carrying out.

And of course, the food menu, which is elegant in its simplicity. Offering a handful of chicken wing varieties (bone-in / boneless / sized small - medium - large) and either a savory, spicy, or half of each sauce, and numerous sides. Of the chicken wings it’s hard to decide what really made them shine. The seasoning and „crunch“ was excellent, the hot sauce was sufficiently spicy (so much so that I needed to pour myself glass of milk 😅), and the chicken itself was prepared wonderfully.

(+1.355 ⭐️) Ambience & Staff: from the cheerful and professional teller taking orders, to the friendly autonomous delivery robot shuttling meals to and fro, the Bonchon Bolingbrook exudes an all round fun and lively atmosphere. I’ll certainly have to dine-in next time!

(+0.925 ⭐️) Location: granted the location is perhaps the only drawback, albeit a minimal one at that. This restaurant is situated on a corner lot within the Bolingbrook mall directly adjacent to ample parking space. Furthermore, the interior designers exercised exquisite foresight by hiding said parking lot from the view of patrons behind a walled in walk-in foyer, and some well placed artwork, so that one can only see out onto the mall‘s footpaths and it’s...

i normally don’t complain, i understand restaurant staff goes through a lot in their day to day shifts but the service at this restaurant was terrible. i’ve been to bon chon downtown and the food was delicious, a little packed but the food came out fast, our server was great and quick and everything was good.

me and my boyfriend decided to enjoy a nice dinner out and came to the bolingbrook location. when we got there we were greeted and taken to a table in the middle of the restaurant by the hostess, we asked (and politely) if it would be possible to move to a booth seeing as 2 were empty (also a half-booth half chair section) and the hostess told us that “the booth was cracked” and that was it. we then sat down, we also asked the waiter if it isn’t a hassle to move to a more private table along the wall and he said no he couldn’t and then me and my boyfriend were just like “oh okay.” he took our orders and then we received our drinks, i ordered a coke and a water. my boyfriend just ordered a glass of water, and we were very surprised to see there was lint and specks of something in the glasses. i didn’t feel comfortable drinking out of the glass so i drank from my can. our fries came out first before anything else, even though we had ordered an appetizer and then the hostess sat another party down… at the booth that was cracked.
