The quintessential IHOP experience can be encapsulated within one menu item: the pancake. Around two weeks ago, my associates and I have traveled to IHOP to consume the one true menu item. The outside was spectacularly tidy and squeaky clean, leaving no doubts that the food served would be delectable. When we stepped inside the building, the word astounded does not even begin to describe how we felt and the ambiance of the restaurant was warm and inviting.
Sitting down, we glanced at the menu but in reality, we all knew what we came here for. Now, this was during the special Minions Menu Promotion, in which their normal menu items (Pancakes, etc.) were jazzed up and elevated with special ingredients like bananas and sprinkles. Of course, being the distinguished IHOP travelers that we were, we ordered the Ba-Ba-Banana Pudding Pancakes, excited at the promise of a sweet treat.
Our service was outstanding, by no means average, and we recieved our food knowing that it was cared for attentively by the chefs in the back as well as our waitress. With a grin, she delivered us the pancakes and we were on our way to the best pancake experience anyone had ever experienced. I forgot to mention, my acquaintance had ordered the Ba-Ba-Banana Milkshake, and we were shaking in our boots with excitement.
Biting into the minion pancakes, we could see why IHOP was renowned as the chief pancake maker, and the International House of Pancakes. The pancakes were cooked to perfection and the toppings were placed so delicately that we were afraid to move them. I do not wish to describe our food any more, because the secrets of IHOP can only truly be discovered when one makes the treacherous journey to their closest location.
Please, venture outside to IHOP and try the pancakes there, even if the minions menu is long gone. The culmination of all these positive aspects makes this location the best place in the entire world, possibly the universe.

Read moreI thought it would be easier to order my food online, but honestly I was COMPLETELY wrong! I ordered my food around 9:30 am. It said it would be ready by 10:15am. I didn't get there till about 10:25am, to give them for time to get my order ready. I get there, the lady asked for my name I gave it to her and she said have a seat, your food should be ready soon. I sat down, 20 minutes pass and still hasn't called my name yet. I go up to her and ask her what's taking so long, I understand you're busy but I ordered online to avoid the long wait. She asked me for my name AGAIN!! Meaning she didn't go check for my order the first time I gave her my name. I'm starting to get irritated. At this point I'm waiting at the desk waiting for her to call me name. 15 more minutes pass and she hasn't called my name yet. The line is getting ridiculously long, people are getting antsy. I waiting almost 45 minuets for an ONLINE ORDER! That's beyond ridiculous to me! The whole time I was waiting I asked to speak to the manager. NO ONE COMES OUT TO TALK TO ME! I ended up waiting almost an HOUR for my meal AND THEY STILL MESSED IT UP!! I don't know how you mess up and online order that was ordered at 9:30 and I was in the store for almost and hour! I ended up asking for my refund and the dude messed that up too! How do you work at place where you deal with money and give me the wrong change!? My total was $58.45, he gave me back $50.50.. The moral of my experience is that IHOP is trash. Unorganized, no management there to comfort the customers. I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN. WORSE EXPERIENCE...
Read moreCome here often. Must say on 11/2 was by far the worst service I’ve ever experienced, so badly that I am going to reconsider about if I would be returning. Server was rude Comes to the booth and rather introduce himself he just asked what will you be ordering. I had to ask him his name. Don’t ask me what he mumbled Food has arrived when asked for hot syrup he brings one cup to a table that everyone has ordered pancakes. After 3 trips of getting hot syrup. It’s finally enough for everyone to eat with their now cold pancakes Asked for napkins he brings 2 After 2 trips everyone now has 1 napkin each. Not sure if this is how management is training staff due to inflation. Either way it equates to poor service. As I stated in the beginning if I could have gotten the guy name I would surely include it in the post But the section we were sitting. Booth area along the window in the back Area to the left when you walk in closer to the back. He had a bday celebration in his section He was about 5’7 bright skin walking with a slight limp hair was a spongy curl on top. Fast forward time to pay. Tosses my card on table and then the tray and says “sign one copy and leave it” The rudeness he displayed really reflects his up bringing. However if you want to retain customers. Excellent customer service should be something your organization demand from its employees at all times If he is unhappy with his choice of employment he should leave because their is plenty of ppl that would like the opportunity to provide for themselves and...
