I usually get cakes from other places but had heard so much about Brown Shuga, I was excited to try it.

I recently ordered their red velvet cake for my wife's birthday, and I have to say, it was absolutely amazing!

The cake was beautifully presented, with layers of rich, moist red velvet cake that practically melted in our mouths. The cream cheese frosting was perfectly balanced, not too sweet or overpowering, but with just the right amount of tanginess to complement the cake. The cake was also beautifully decorated with piped frosting and sprinkles, which added an extra touch of elegance to the presentation.

What really impressed me about Brown Shuga Bakery was their attention to detail and commitment to quality. Every aspect of the cake, from the texture of the cake layers to the flavor of the frosting, was just right. You can tell that they take pride in their work and truly care about making their customers happy.

The customer service was second to none. Ordering over the phone was quick and easy. I received a call that it was ready for pickup.

Feels like I just discovered a diamond in the rough. Stumbled upon this place on Door Dash and I dashed my way on over there just in time before they closed. I called before I arrived to make sure they weren't closing early and to ensure they had the desserts in stock that I wanted to try. They answered and did have the items in stock. They also mentioned their top sellers. When I arrived, I was helped by a male cashier, I also heard someone refer to him as chef. He was very welcoming and also suggested other items to add to my order. I tried the caramel cake, red velvet cake and banana pudding. Caramel cake not pictured because it was my daughter's. I was only planning to taste the red velvet cake but couldn't stop myself. All 3 were simply delicious. You can tell that these desserts are made with southern love and care. The only suggestion I would like to provide to this business is to maybe have a printed menu displayed. I love technology for sure, but I had a hard time reading the menu on the tv/monitor with the glare from the sun and it also rotates to other things on the display so I had to keep watching and play close attention to see the items available on the menu. I was looking for a pineapple upside down cake for my best friends birthday. I never had it or heard of it until she told me this is what she likes. I was able to find it here. I called 2 days ahead of time and they were able to get it done in short notice. I didn't get a chance to get the gentleman's name who helped me and the baker. However, they both were very nice, had a welcoming energy. He showed me the cake before payment to make sure it looked good. The baker let me try a sample of the caramel frosting and although I'm not a big fan of caramel, that was by far the BEST frosting I've ever tasted. It really made me want to come back for more. I brought the pineapple cake to the birthday party and EVERYONE had a sliced and were raving about it! The cake was gone in one sitting! They all said the cake tasted really great. & for this being my first time trying it as well, I'd have to agree. It was fresh, soft, not too sweet. absolutely PERFECT!
