Currently open under a soft open not the grand opening. The food is delicious. The falafels are fresh made not frozen handmade to order and phenomenal. The interior texture is light and fluffy unlike those heavy frozen cornbread type falafel. They're very flavorful, not a flat grainy taste, they actually have a kick. I loved when cooking my chicken shwarma that they continuously check to make sure that it was cooked all the way through. However using the same tongs to pull the raw meat from the bin to put on the grill definitely is a drawback and hopefully rectified prior to the grand opening. The rice was moist and delicious also with a beautiful spicy kick. Nothing I ate was dried out everything was made fresh to order. One of the greatest things about this restaurant is the absolute care taken with each customer and customer service / satisfaction. That really goes far. Because this was a soft open they're working out Kinks with their Expediting. I was one of the second people in and two in from the phone and still waited 32 minutes for my food. It has to be noted that they did not expect the volume of business with a soft opening that they got. They make no excuses for anything and are very open to suggestions but they need that chance to be open to find the glitches including their expediting and how they put their food in holding. The latter of the two already being noted and was supposed to be discussed amongst the owners the day after as we spoke. They have beautiful artwork and amazing lanterns for Decor they had three TVs, two on different stations so the noise was a little much having two different stations and two different volumes turned on and their menu is so unbelievably small it's not value added to the restaurant. The menu however looks beautiful it's just too small and I love that there's no handwritten signs there's nothing half-assed in this restaurant at all, not even junk on the counter, they did a really nice job. The food is just absolutely delicious and the serving portions are perfect size. Pita Zone is one of my favorites new to town. The staff is very friendly, the staff is knowledgeable, the staff appears to be trained and again the only glitches: timing and expediting, something that could change with time and experience. My Hope Is that they continue the high standards of quality and cleanliness and customer service that they've put forth in the soft opening.... And use different tongs to pull out raw meat and cooked meat on the grill.

Visited for the first time yesterday - and honestly, can't wait to go back! We tried the chicken shawarma entree, falafel, and baklava. Spice blend on the shawarma was delicious, it was so tender too because it's cut fresh from the vertical rotisserie. The entree comes with salad, rice, hummus (the best hummus we've ever had), garlic sauce (OMG SO GOOD), and pita. It's hard to decide what to eat first, and what to eat next. The falafel was beyond amazing - having tried to make this dish before, I can say I'll never make it myself again - I'll be leaving this to the professionals at the Pita Zone! The falafel was great with the hummus, garlic sauce, and the hot sauce! Hot sauce has a nice kick, but it doesn't overwhelm your mouth, or leave you regretting using it. Baklava...just wow. Freshly made by staff (just like everything on the menu), not too sweet, and a perfect way to end the meal....sadly, we didn't take a picture of this though. Sorry, but trust us, it's worth the trip! It was a pleasure talking with staff - they have a passion and a love to create and share some amazing food! Don't miss out on this gem!

Pita Zone has friendly people who greet you as soon as you walk in the door, who are very helpful with helping you decide what you should order depending on your tastes, mood or if you just want to try something new...you will be amazed at how good this food is. I thought I was eating at a fine dining Mediterranean restaurant. Their food is just that good!!! If you're in the surrounding Bolingbrook area, I highly recommend this place if your wanting Great Mediterranean food and you don't want to drive 8 or more miles and you don't want the time commitment of a restaurant "dine-in", then this is the perfect choice. To sum it up, they have very nice staff, a warm quick serve atmosphere and awesome Mediterranean food that you get fresh and quick. Great for quick dine-in or take out for a time crunched lunch or a great meal to enjoy in the comfort of your home. I also recommend their catering for your office, party, or special occasion either at work or home.

100+$ Waste Of Money! When ordering ( Gyro ) Both my husband and I ordered the dinner (15$) assuming that it'd be a larger portion as we were intending on sharing with our children. However when they brought the plates out I kind of laughed because to my Suprise on top of a thin layer of rice laid 6 very very well done some burnt, shaved slices of gyro meat. I asked the man twice "this is the Dinner?!" My husband ordered his sause free / on the side ,but his was covered in sauce. My mother ordered a gyro sandwich (8$)and got easily twice as much meat as we did combined. We received some things we didn't ordered and also other things we did order never came. When we'd ask the man question he was helpful but he was in back not responding before you order. When we'd tell him that's not right he'd try to fix it. I guess but we did not receive more meat or anything like that. It was unbelievable to pay 15$ for 6 pieces of very burnt meat. But the rice was good.

I'm honestly upset that I didn't take pictures because I can't imagine reading this review is enough to make you believe how terrible the quality was. Even the Pita was dry, chalky and was thin as can be. The hummus had shockingly almost no taste as it did look extremely appealing.

We did ask multiple questions at the register but the girl taking our ordered was so rude with a smile. Acting Robotic in a way. I'd ask a question she'd give a weird smile and answer as if we were unintelligent tip her head sideways and Respond with the SAME answer over and over. "Is the Chicken kabob not on a stick?" "Its Chicken Kabob ,it's Chicken breast" not ever actually giving an answer. Which was annoying but we were like "ooookay.. "

**The Rice was a good texture ( little to no flavor) and the chicken was good, but extremely thin and dry..but good flavor! Here is my positive Feedback. The above table lighting was nice **

I'm sure we could have complained but the way she was acting and the process of ordering we just accepted that we'd NEVER come back. I still can't believe the portion sizes are so ridiculously small. Typically I'd not even leave a review THIS LONG but as we were leaving the girl pushed...

This spot is one of THE BEST falafel places in the area! I've loved this place for many years bc the staff has always been friendly & the food is always on point 💯

My wife & I visited recently after working late & everything was closed or closing & unwilling to serve us. We popped in to this spot 30 minutes before they were supposed to close, & Aymon & Manuel did not hesitate to take care of us! My wife & I are both vegan/gluten-free & Aymon was more than happy to point out what vegan/GF options were on the menu & answer any of our questions. He was kind enough to let us try the rice before deciding to order too! 🙌🏽 He confirmed that the falafels are vegan/GF & the rice is vegan friendly as well (some places make the rice with beef/chicken stock). Baba Ghanoush, Jeruselem Salad, Grape Leaves & of course the Hummus & Tahini are also all vegan/GF, so we both got a veggie mix plate with all of the above! Aymon offered us extra rice on the side since we couldn't do the Tabbouleh or pita (neither are gluten-free) & Manuel whipped it all up in the kitchen in no time!! 👌🏽👏🏽 They hooked us up!!

Truly one of the BEST experiences we have had at a restaurant in a long time & it meant so much to get top-notch customer service from such kind humans who cared to feed us late when we were hungry & out of options 💙 These guys do a wonderful job, treat you with respect, & are always welcoming. Being greeted with a smile from Aymon whenever we stop in leaves us with a positive experience everytime! Many thanks!

🤤 & did I mention the falafels are AMAZING?! We've tried falafels at many places & these are some of the best as far as quality, tastiness & affordability. Give these guys a raise! 💯💯💯 Much love to you always my...
