Saigon BOWL- Authentic Vietnamese Bistro — Restaurant in Bonaire

I happened to come on the opening day with my husband and we were both blown away! First, the service was wonderful. All of the staff were so kind and friendly. Second, the food was phenomenal. I ordered the shrimp pho and my husband got the pork vermicelli. All of the ingredients were so fresh and steaming hot when we got them. I have actually been so disappointed in the local Vietnamese food I started making it at home. I definitely won’t do that anymore! 5/5, we will definitely be back soon.

Slow and expensive.

They only had one size pho (the size was similar with small size bowl with other restaurants)

Had to wait 40+ minutes for pho. Tables were half filled, wasn’t busy.

We got “special pho”. The noodle amount was very small, not many pieces of meat. Thought the $16.95 for small bowl of pho with tiny amount of noodles and little meat was pretty expensive for the area.

We also got a grilled pork rice paper roll for $6.95 which I thought it was expensive, considering grilled pork amount was 1/10 of the roll- mainly noodles...

Almost didn’t leave a review because I would rather gate keep this place but man is the food good. The toppings and vegetables they add to the pho make it so fresh and beef was really high grade. The family is also so warm and inviting to include the owner who came out to personally shake my hand. The owner took the time to show me their menu and they have some really good stuff coming.
