I recently had the pleasure of dining at this outstanding Greek restaurant for lunch, and I must say, it was an experience that exceeded all expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that set the tone for a fantastic meal.
The star of the show was undoubtedly the Blackened Grouper Pita that I ordered. Each bite was a burst of flavor and freshness. The blackened seasoning on the grouper was perfectly balanced, adding a delightful kick without overpowering the natural taste of the fish. The pita was soft and just the right vessel to hold the succulent fish and the array of vibrant vegetables that accompanied it. It was a harmonious blend of textures and tastes that left me craving more.
Complementing the pita was the Greek salad, a masterpiece in its own right. The medley of crisp lettuce, juicy tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, and feta cheese was drizzled with a tangy vinaigrette that tied all the elements together. Every forkful was a celebration of Mediterranean flavors that transported me to the shores of Greece.
The exceptional service I experienced truly stood out. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely seemed to care about ensuring that my dining experience was nothing short of perfect. It's rare to find a place where the service is so seamlessly integrated into the overall enjoyment of the meal.
Parking can often be a hassle, but this restaurant has it sorted out. The abundance of parking spaces made it hassle-free to arrive and depart, allowing me to focus solely on the culinary delights that awaited me.
In conclusion, my visit to Zorba's Mediterranean Grille was an absolute delight. The Blackened Grouper Pita and Greek salad were sensational, the service was impeccable, and the ample parking was a cherry on top. If you're seeking an authentic Greek dining experience with a modern twist, I wholeheartedly recommend giving this restaurant a try. It has easily secured its place as one of my top choices for...
Read moreZorba's has been a long time favorite of my parents, which I was treated to for the first time in March 2013. I'm told that a recent remodel has transformed this restaurant from a casual cafe into a higher-end establishment. They did miss the old environment, but the remodel created a lovely atmosphere. The greeting was very friendly. We arrived early enough that we were seated right away, but the restaurant filled quickly, a testament to its popularity. I hear that there are belly dancers on the weekends. The booth was large and comfortable, seating 6. Our server was friendly and presentable. While not the most attentive by nature, he quickly produced anything we asked for. The menu was great, listing most anything you'd hope to find at a greek restaurant. Prices were a bit higher than some folks may wish to pay, but the portions were reasonable to large, and the food boasted quality fresh ingredients. Fresh flatbread and olive oil were brought to the table. Of course, the kids ordered pizzas and were happy. A few salads appeared on our table. The greek salad looked like the best value and was well loaded. My husband had a salad with gyro meat that was well enjoyed. My roka salad was excellent, an arugula salad with two goat cheese balls rolled in pistacios, pistacios, pears, dates, and a slightly sweet dressing. Other dishes eaten by our party included a decent tabouli, a large mix of appetizers for two, and a huge, delicious spanikopita. Zorba's was...
Read moreWe’ve been coming here for decades, and it’s one of our favorite restaurants locally. Plenty of booths, which makes it comfortable when you’re with your family versus just a regular table.
Their Greek salad and the spanakopita is by far the best Greek food in the area. I crave it all the time. I love the seasoning on their fries as well. And can never leave without taking some baklava to go.
Service seems to be hit or miss but always a little bit slow, but that’s fine with us because we like to take our time eating as a family.
Unfortunately, much like Chick-fil-A we seem to want it the most on a Sunday, but they are closed on Sundays even during season. Very disappointing considering that’s the day that all of my family members have off of work and want to go out. We would love to frequent this restaurant more often if they were open on Sundays. They are a family owned business so it’s understandable.
In prior years, they have also taken a lengthy break in the summer so make sure you call before you go if you’re wanting to eat there. Nothing worse than making the drive and showing up to a closed sign.
It’s worth going if it works for...
