Scooter's Coffee — Restaurant in Boone

New to town and decided to try Scooter's. I'm normally a Starbucks fan but didn't want to walk through a grocery store to go get it. I got a blended moca and a ham breakfast sandwich. The drink was pretty good and I was pleased with the flavor and strength of the coffee. The sandwich was less than favorable but I'm not 100% sure what I was expecting. This will not stop me from going again though. The staff member that took my order was incredibly sweet and patient with me as I had absolutely no idea what I wanted or how to order a drink here as I'm not used to the menu. I’ve tried to be happy with scooters as i love the convenience in the mornings. I order a simple drink, cold brew plain, splash of cream. Today i got a watered down version of coffee that you could see through. I asked them nicely to make it again and it was worse the second time. You could see through the cup. She said “ I don’t know what to tell you. There must be something wrong with the concentrate. I don’t know why it looks like that.” She knew it was wrong and still gave it to me. Twice. I stop at Scooters almost every day for myself and others. Unfortunately, while I am usually treated cheerfully and respectfully, I was treated rudely by the girl at the window Friday, April 30th. The young blonde girl argued with me about my order and the mistake that was made twice on the same purchase. I had already given her the tip for my order, or I would have omitted that gratuity. I recommend removing this girl from interaction with customers if she cannot curb her attitude and learn good customer service.
