Pinkham's Gourmet Market — Restaurant in Boothbay Harbor

Went in on an impulse after having to drive to boothbay to pick up paperwork... The receptionist at the accounting office told me she's heard great things, when I asked about this shop. My husband and I wanted something good to eat, without the hassle of parking in boothbay. Short story, it was excellent! I had the pulled pork and my husband's had a turkey sub, both excellent and made to order in their open kitchen. I asked about the smoked wings, they had a special for lunch, and they let me sample one. SO GOOD! I got a pound to bring home, fall off the bone tender, and so flavorful, with just the right amount of smoke flavor. Great wine and beer selection as well as shelves stocked with gourmet and specially foods. Produce, a deli, great looking seafood and meats. Can't wait to go back and...

After years of our go to lobster wharf eatery for cooked take home, the past three years have been such a disappointment... Rude staff, no willingness to add to our order (can you believe that?) and just that “well we’ve been here for so long you have to just deal with our attitude”...Not any more! PINKHAM’S MARKET was the best from the first phone call to the time we spent on site and to the final “enjoy your lobsters “ and goodbye, there was personable staff who were genuinely kind and courteous and the lobster and mussels were DELICIOUS!!! We were in Boothbay Harbor on vacation for a week in mid Sept. Drove by Pinkham's shop and stopped in. Decided to ship some lobsters to friends in Mn. Do to an unfortunate occurrence they did not arrive in good condition. The man working there stood behind there shipping policy and replaced the lobsters at no charge. They arrived in great shape. I would highly recommend Pinkham's. We bought two more lobsters for ourselves which he cooked for a nominal fee. Also bought oysters which were excellent ..this has to be the best place to buy seafood in Me. Going back next year. Pinkham's will be our first...
