Denny's — Restaurant in Bordentown Township

The all you can eat breakfast is limited in you can only get what they give with no substitutions and I was only thinking buttered toast instead of pancakes. I wouldn't be surprised if you can and my being difficult Waitress just told Me you can't. Speaking of which, my elderly waitress spent a lot of time trying to impress with how relaxed she could get saying she's tired & could soon go home. I wish that was the extent of her loosey goosiness,but it wasn't. They advertise all you can eat yet she comes over 5 minutes after plate one playing mind games asking if full and want check? When you tell her you'd like to get value and get at least one refill,she pretends to not remember and brings over done check. You would think it was her personal eggs and profits she was protecting. The big company would probably tell her she doesn't have to do that, so I don't get it. As an aside, years ago I had a young attractive Chickee & Pete's waitress who comically insisted me & mine ordered another round of crab legs. I was so bloated and laughed at her joke but at the same time appreciated that She didn't make us feel like gluttons for trying to get our knees worth. That's $44 there vs a measly %6...

So I had a different review up at one point and it was a good review. Until we went there today. We went in the parking lot look packed there was nobody in there very spaced out for waitresses it took them 5 minutes just to see us they looked at Us close to three times before seating us and then when we sat down we waited 22 minutes before we left. no one came to us nobody asked us for drinks, nobody said Hi how are you doing, nothing the girls were too much sitting there worrying about themselves instead of the customers. and then on top of that they were cleaning the tables off when nobody was sitting there when they could have clearly came up to us and said what would you like to drink nothing they didn't say anything until we left we didn't respond to them we just walked right out and we drove down the road to the Town and country diner which actually was better than Denny's. we will never go there again. And we used to go to Denny's all the time but I'm good on that lost a customer don't even bother going there. Like that's how ungrateful they were to...

When I walked in I had some lady stare at me, didn't even realize she worked there, then finally after 5 minutes of me standing there waiting for her to actually say something to me she finally says how many. So for some reason the waitress that we got was nice to everyone else except for me. I heard her go up to everybody that she served and asked them if they liked their food or not, except for me. She wasn't the least bit nice, didn't say hello even tell me her name as a matter of fact she didn't come back to my table one time and asked me if we needed anything else or if the food was good or not. I then sat there waiting for the check at which point she walked up slapped the check on the table and said Pay it at the register, obviously did not want a tip! My son's food was scorching hot while my food was ice cold! The price was great but besides that nothing else was great!
