I recently had the pleasure of visiting this incredible coffee shop, and I can confidently say it's hands down the best coffee I've ever had. The rich, full-bodied flavor was a perfect balance of smoothness and depth that left me wanting more with every sip. It's clear that the owners â a Ukrainian refugee family who sought shelter in the US â pour their hearts and soul into every cup they serve. Their unwavering spirit and resilience shine through in every detail, from the warm atmosphere to the impeccable service.
Itâs so inspiring to see them thriving after overcoming so many obstacles, and you can feel the love and hard work they've put into this space. What's even more unbelievable is that despite their remarkable story and the exceptional quality of their coffee, some low ratings still pop up. These negative reviews seem unfair and, quite frankly, a result of some people trying to degrade a business owned by a Ukrainian family who, after facing unimaginable hardship, are doing their best to build a new life here.
This coffee place is a testament to the strength and determination of the human spirit. I encourage everyone to support this beautiful establishment and taste for yourself the incredible coffee and hospitality they offer. They truly deserve all the success...
Read moreFirst time visiting Smachna Kawa after my friend recommended itâsheâs a big fan of their coffee and had me pick her up an orange juice mixed coffee (which is as wild as it sounds in the best way). Iâm not a coffee person myself, so I went for the mango matcha and it hit the spotârefreshing, smooth, and perfect for a hot summer day.
The café itself is cozy and peaceful, even during midday. It has a lovely view of the main street and gives off that perfect vibe for catching up with friends or getting a bit of work done.
I didnât get any pastries this time, but the display case was full of tempting options (that pistachio croissant is calling my name). Canât wait to come back and explore more of their tea options andâletâs be realâfinally try that...
Read moreI was pleasantly surprised by the friendliness and great advice from the baristas! They answered all my questions about how their coffee is made (I was especially curious about their Raf) and the ingredients in their desserts. Speaking of dessertsâthey are absolutely fabulous, both in appearance and taste! I tried the carrot cake and the espresso crĂšme brĂ»lĂ©e. The carrot cake was the best Iâve ever hadâIâd come back to NJ just for it! :)) The espresso crĂšme brĂ»lĂ©e was on the sweeter side but still incredibly tender and creamy. The coffee is fantastic, the seating area is nice, and the staff is incredibly friendlyâyou can chat with them and learn more about the beautiful country of Ukraine and their passion for coffee. Definitely...
