We visited The Ice Cream Boutique by 1892 Chocolates as the last stop on our On The Town Food Tours, and it was a great end to a wonderful tour. They had a nice variety of ice cream and gelato sourced from other creameries. We were able to try samples until we made our selection. I opted for the Flip Flop ice cream, which was very good. The owners explained that they purchased the ice cream shop yeas ago after already owning another local business down the block. They also offer bottled drinks, a small selection of specialty gifts, and a variety of family made empanadas. Its a small shop with a big latin history. An ice cream shop that shows why shopping local is important. They do everything right, from the flavors, to the options, to the customer service. Lots of flavors to choose from, and so many combinations of cones, toppings, and even cookie sandwiches. You can grab a wacky soda like pickle-, bacon-, or sour-flavored.

The staff is quite friendly, even during the peak times when it can get overwhelming. Everyone got served in a short time with a smile. There is some seating inside, but it’s mostly a to-go ice cream parlor.

The Ice Cream Boutique is an absolute gem! This small, mom-and-pop ice cream parlor offers a cozy and clean ambiance that makes you feel right at home. The friendly service is top-notch, the staff provided excellent recommendations.
