McDonald's — Restaurant in Bosque Farms

I am no one. As in, I am not someone of any real importance, but I feel that writing this review will help this particular McDonalds become better over time. I am not from New Mexico, my girlfriend is. We come to New Mexico at least once a month and I have been to this particular McDonalds a few times in the past. The difference between McDonalds in NM vs where I am from is; McFlurries are actually stirred. What I mean by that is; where I am from no one stirs the McFlurry, they simply give you a cup of ice cream and throw Oreo pieces on top of it, then hand it to you and you have to mix it, if you are interested in mixing it.. I thought this was normal, I thought every McDonalds did this, until I came to visit New Mexico. I thought to myself "wow, these people take the time to do something so simple to appease its customers by doing things the right way" anyway, I have never had breakfast at McDonalds in NM, but I woke up hungry at 5am while visiting and really wanted something to eat, this McDonalds seems to be the only thing open at this hour, so I drove there and ordered my food: Egg McMuffin no pork and a black coffee. I can't say that many things I purchase compel me to write a review, negative or positive, but I felt compelled to write this review. The hash brown was cold, so cold it seemed like it wasn't cooked properly. The egg McMuffin was also cold and stale, like it had been sitting around for at least an hour, the bread was not soft the bread was closer to a crouton than bread. The irony of it all is, that this "breakfast" was not ready as quickly as you would think after serving me what seemed to be something that had been sitting around for a while. then I thought about it and I realized something... I don't eat pork for a variety of reasons, one is that its disgusting and its not good for you. so I asked for a sandwich with egg and cheese only. After taking a few bites of my Egg McMuffin I realized that the residual taste of ham was lingering in my mouth, and I believe that what they did was take a pre made Egg McMuffin, take the ham out, repackage it with the "special order" sticker and handed it to me. It is disappointing that in this day and age there are people who do not care about maintaining good business and are honest about their practices. I will not visit this McDonalds again and I will actively take my business elsewhere in spite of the well...

This location deserves a negative star... it's very generous to even give 1 star to this McDonald's. Absolutely terrible. It took nearly 30mins to get a happy meal! Soda was flat. When we asked for a number to contact a higher level manager or owner, we were given a number to this location and it rang for over 2min as we were in the franchise. The current manager never bothered to answer. She even had the audacity to tell me that she answered the phone and I was looking at the phone the whole time that it was ringing!!! As we were making a verbal complaint to the manager, who didn't care about anything we were saying or even attempting to resolve the issue, other customers around the restaurant were giving us a thumbs up and verbally agreeing with or complaint. This reflects that it is not just our experience...it is a serious trend. We didn't even receive the ice cream we ordered!

Both the Bosque Farms and Los Lunas locations have absolutely terrible service. I've also been in the drive thru and have had to wait a very long time i.e. 20 mins. We have even passed others that were in the "waiting space". Their drive thru has nearly 10cars and doesn't even move 5feet in 5min. The Guzmans need to be contacted to get this franchise up to par!!!

We frequent this location often and have experienced longer than normal wait periods. If this happened in ABQ... the McDonalds franchisee owner would have been contacted and taken...

Worst service. Sunday listening to the manager complain bout customers very loudly at the counter. At 6:15 pm. They just put our to go order on the counter we had to go look in sack to see if it was our order they didnt call out a number or anything. It was not even that busy. I didnt see one employee with a smile or being courteous to customers. The one in charge looked like she really hates her job, she was telling employees that she knew the customer had lied and just wanted free food but she told her no and got her card she was by registers saying all this and ran the ladys card to take it back to her. She saw us looking at her and didnt care she just kept talking bout customers. Doesnt anyone check the camers to see how the employees are treating people you really need to. This is the second time i have gotten terrible service so i dont think ill be back. The other time the girl knocked the soda,cup on the floor right in front of us and picked it up and handed it to me and walked away. I had to wait at counter and tell her if i could get another one since it fell in the floor. I have been in food for sixteen years and worked as a supervisor. I am very glad i worked in a place that trained everyone well on customer service. These employees at this location Bosque Farms need alot of customer...
