*𝙥𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙚 𝙪𝙥𝙫𝙤𝙩𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙨𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙥𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙨𝙚𝙚 𝙞𝙩!* **𝘽𝙀𝙒𝘼𝙍𝙀** This restaurant is not 100% vegan/vegetarian despite the very misleading signage!! The door literally says “VEGAN AND VEGETARIAN” which leads people to believe that this restaurant doesn’t sell meat. That, unfortunately is wrong and very false advertisement. Not only does this restaurant sell all kinds of meats, but when you order they will not clarify that for you. I ordered the “carnitas tacos” unbeknownst to me that they’d actually contain pork. I’ve had this restaurant on my list of places to try for so long so I finally decide to treat myself and go after a tough day. What a disappointing experience. I will never eat here again. Before coming in, I read the reviews which all rave about their vegan/vegetarian meals and once in the store I saw the words “vegan and vegetarian” plastered everywhere so there was no reason for me to suspect that I would need to specify I don’t want to eat meat at a “vegan and vegetarian” labeled restaurant. I even took a look at the website and nothing there suggests that animals are cooked. All the owner had to do was add one last word to the signage: options. It should instead say “vegan and vegetarian options”. I’ve eaten at dozens upon dozens of vegan restaurants all over this country and even overseas and have never run into this issue before. It feels very purposeful. Like they’re following a trend and they know that if they put up those words, they’ll draw people in only to make it seem like it’s the customer’s fault when they find out animal meat is sold. Such a shame. **Edit because the owner just responded to place the blame on me when in reality their signage is confusing. Period. So predictable! As of 09/20/23 there is no disclaimer on the menu to indicate meat is sold!! Out of the 70 reviews currently posted there may be ONE review BURIED under the plant-based reviews that explicitly mentions meat. I shouldn’t have to rely on reviews to inform me about critical information regarding your business, that info should be readily available. Own your mistake, fix your errors, and stop being witty with your customers. Not a good look.

Placed my vegetarian bowl order, and the app said it would be ready in 10 minutes. Arrived on time and stood behind someone taking forever to order while the guy at the counter refused to make eye contact. After five minutes, I asked if my order was ready and it took him another five minutes to get into the back only to find out that it hadn’t even been started. I heard him tell the chef what my order was, but he left off that it included vegan chicken. I mentioned to him that I hadn’t heard him say “vegan chicken,“ and he went back into the kitchen to tell the chef. So over 10 minutes later, I finally get my food, and unsurprisingly, no chicken. I brought it back up to the counter and the employee went to the back and told the chef who said loud enough for everyone to hear “did he pay for it or not?“ He caught me red-handed trying to scam them out of chicken. Actually, I just think the chef may not be able to read. This is a perfect example of why tipping on pick-up orders when you place the order doesn’t work. Regardless, the bowl wasn’t bad when I finally got it home. Won’t be going back anytime soon, though.

The tofu was really good but too mushy for my taste. Made my stomach uneasy. At first it was an 8 but as I kept eating it went to a 6. It was very busy so the wait and quality made me want to eat @ chipotle. Worth a try when the food is fresh and way before closing as they got slammed with orders and only 2 workers. Also, the lady taking orders is so so sweet. She refers to everyone as “sweetie,” and allowed us to get a free drink for our inconvenience. Such a cutie! The customer service goes a long way. Personally not worth the $16. This was the vegan bowl with tofu and no jalapeño. Has a bench, a table with 3 chairs, and 3 stools by the window.

This restaurant serves good quality food, its not open for lunch on some days that's kind of ridiculous, really. I'm going to edit just to respond to the owner. for food I gave you 4 stars. (That's a super compliment since I'm a total food snob)..Service one star because your service is limited. But to be fair I edited and gave you 3 stars for service, atmosphere you received 3 stars because, you cant get 5 stars for providing a limited atmosphere. If you functioned like normal business hours you would have received 5 stars. You can not truly expect for business to pick up by reducing your hours, that doesn't even make sense. Take feedback from your customers and check your feelings at the door. Feedback allows restaurant owners, who don't always see where the weak points are. With all this being said, I do love your food. I will go when you are open.. I do hope however your business picks up so you can be open more often and when you do I will personally come back and give you 5 stars. ;) ONCE AGAIN THE VEGAN FOOD...
