Bitez — Restaurant in Boston

Very disappointed with my meal last night. The quesadilla was not cooked well..(not grilled enough) and then it was just thrown in box where it all stuck together and when I got home it was congealed together in one big mess. Additionally, while I know food prices have increased, beans and rice are still very cheap. I would expect for an almost $4 dollar side of rice, it would be packed nice and tight in your designated containers, but I barely got enough rice for one serving. It is very disheartening, as this always seems to happen at restaurants owned by black/brown folk here..they kick off with great momentum the first year, but then start skimping on the food/service. I don't think I will be back or recommend anytime soon. BTW.. doesn't anyone notice that a lot of the reviews here are for a Chinese...

This was our first time getting food from here…terrible first impression. We ordered 5 empanadas and were only given 4. We did call and a staff member said they’d be able to give us a refund for the missing empanada, so that was appreciated. Once we started eating, the chicken and cheese empanada looked off/had a weird texture, so we decided to open it and look. I can guarantee that it wasn’t chicken that was in that empanada. Whatever was inside looked/felt like something squishy and super chewy, we’re convinced it was fake or lab grown meat. The beef and cheese ones were good but there was a hair in it (obviously not our hair), so overall just not a good experience. We wouldn’t go back to Bitez...

bitez is a really nice place to go. i got a yummy burrito and the delicious lemonade, which was pretty expensive. my whole family enjoyed their food, but it was very highly priced. we took a long time to order as it was our first time and there were so many options; the server looked annoyed (understandable) and also did not speak english the best so it took longer than it needed to to order (also understandable). overall i'd recommend. the atmosphere is so nice, it's clean and bright inside. there isn't much seating which is fine, and their branding and social media is very good! the parking is nonexistent, park on the street or double park....
