Invi restaurant — Restaurant in Boston

I used to go to this restaurant when the first opened some years back and I told my friends about the amazing little spot in dorchester center. I haven't been there in forever. I was in the area last week and I immediately noticed the workers all went to the back of the restaurant. I'm patiently waiting and the five minutes later someone came back up front. (No greeting or can I help you was ever said) and then the young lady goes in the back again but this time she is speaking Spanish to you young guys who are in back preparing the food. They all look at me and then laugh. I stood my ground because I'm already here and I'm hungry. So after another few minutes pass she (the cashier) comes back up front to take my order. Everything I asked for they suddenly don't have ( I'm like ok) but if you've been to this place you can see all of the food through the plexiglass they have up. I asked for beef, saw the beef, however they are out of it. I chucked it up to racism. Because I'm kind, and I'm also a chef for over 25 years. How I feel outside of that kitchen has nothing to do with the person who chose to dine with me. I'm going to give you the best service each time. These children are related or have some form of a relationship with the owners. The was I was treated was distasteful and simply rude. I will now tell all of my friends and the chef community to never dine with the establishment in question as the customer service there is beyond terrible. You lost a...

The food is never consistent, some days it’s great and others it’s unseasoned, and undercooked. If you want delivery I would go in person or somewhere else altogether. Over 45 minutes waiting with no food, you call and get no response and when you finally do they say it’s your fault for not answering the call of the driver, only they gave the driver the wrong number and he wasn’t calling anyone. He also was too lazy to ring a doorbell I guess. And no, they will not offer fresh food for their mistake even tho it’s sitting in hot plates not made to order. I have no clue as to why this place has 4 stars... this was the worse spanish food I've ever had... the rice and beans had a seriously funny taste.. all the food was old and stale!!! the plantains were hard as a rock....litreally!!! U could break someone window with one of those things!! They should be embarrassed for even serving that!! On top of the food being garbage it cost way more than any other spanish food place I've ever been to! $30 for two plates is ridiculous and to pay that kind of money and then the food be trash.. very disappointed.!!!. won't...
