The place was very clean, it was my first time coming in for a cup of coffee. My daughter had appointments next door so instead of going to our regular Dunkin’s we figured it was more convenient to go here so we wouldn’t be late. I ordered through the app as I entered, had a seat and waited to see the coffee appear at the pick up section. It was about 2 people ordering in line, they collected their orders and others walked in to quickly collect their orders from the pick up section, then it was just me. I saw the employee (Hispanic) coming to the pick up area with a large coffee so I got up and walked towards the counter, before I got close she stared at me, screwed her face up and grabbed the coffee back she had just placed down up and yelled “NAME” really loudly. I was confused as to what the issue could have been, I turned my phone around to show my name and she just sat it on the counter and stormed off, my daughter noticed this and was confused as well. It has two-story skylights that illuminate Boston sports team banners that are hung from the two-story ceiling. However, I have been there several times now, and every time the counter staff acted like customers like me were an afterthought. One recent example was when I ordered a sandwich and two hash browns. When I got to my table, only one order hash browns was in the already folded bag. I walked back up to the counter and my second hash brown (now cold) was under the Pick Up sign. The explanation, "Oh yeah, here is your second one, but you walked away." Another time I asked to use the locked rest room. The cook person called to someone in the register area who looked at me and continued what sounded like a conversation about paychecks rather than pressing the button to release the door. Update: I've tried coming back here a couple more times, and have been CONSISTENTLY overcharged for my orders; they refuse to charge me for a refill, despite having my own cup, with the old order sticker still on it. They either charge me for a new coffee, or they charge me for a coffee that's 2 or 3 times later than the cup actually is. I would give this location negative stars if that was an option. Absolutely lost all my business from now on, and will advise everything I know to take their business somewhere else.
