Green T Coffee Shop - Rozzie — Restaurant in Boston

3-4 months ago I tried to get coffee here for the first time but there was no employee to be found inside the establishment for 15 minutes, and there was already a line of 3 people ahead of me. On my way in I saw someone on a bench looking at their phone and smoking a cigarette across the street. Turns out that was the barista! She was rude and seemed upset that there were customers. The experience of waiting for 15 minutes and then her entering the coffeeshop with that kind of attitude on top was enough for me to walk away.

I was passing by yesterday and thought to give this place another attempt at purchasing a drink. This time the same barista was sitting inside and was preoccupied with her phone, and I asked if she was still serving espresso (at 3:30pm), and her tone was not welcoming, warm, kind, or anyting related to customer service, the tone was reluctancy and I heard something along the lines of a "ugh, yes". I then saw an extremely dirty mop and bucket next to the counter and just said forget it and left.

I don't know what the barista or this business is going through, but to them - a positive focus on customer service is appreciated and goes...

The breakfast items are delicious. I just recently tried the pesto chicken sandwich and the spicy chicken sandwich. This morning, a young female working there. She was really nice. She had a really beautiful smile. Just a very positive vibrant aura about her. It made my day because in this day and age people are not nice. People are just so rude these days so it’s a breath of fresh air to see someone like her. I don’t remember your name, but I was the Indian guy that just dropped off the chocolates the two boxes of chocolates. You had recommended that I order the Chicken salad sandwich. And you were absolutely correct. It was amazing. And you keep doing what you’re doing because you bring out a lot of positivity! Very refreshing to see!!!! 5 STARS!!!! I know the name now of the person who works there. Her name is Maya. She’s very very kind very sweet always smiling. Good demeanor, positive attitude. Cozy Atmosphere, the interior design was inviting. I sat by the fireplace and read the books available, it was a nice way to decompress in the city. Free street parking is available on either side of the street- no issues with that. They stop serving food at 2pm, only pastries available. (pastries did not look too good - I didn’t try) The menu is also on the pricier side. I had gotten a smoothie & it was about $8. I did not enjoy as it was watered down, didn’t have that signature smoothie texture. It also tasted sour like the fruit had gone bad. Did not finish the smoothie, and for that price i’d say it’s definitely not worth it. Please try something else if you’re still planning on coming here!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There needs to be a more seamless way of picking up orders.
