Blue Star — Restaurant in Boston

All around not a great experience. I have frequented there with my best friend and always had good luck. I recently decided to take my wife and it was terrible. To start, our server was very unfriendly and hostile. When I ordered my breakfast she said it came with certain sides but when she brought my food out she didn’t bring the sides then saying that she was mistaken. Instead of asking me if I wanted to put in a side order for the dish she left it as is. Secondly my food was prepared wrong and when I brought it to her attention she took it back and came back with the same food a minute later. We told her again and she did nothing. She walked away from our table and didn’t come back until she gave us the check. I didn’t get to eat my meal because it was not the food that I ordered. Very disappointed. Needless to say we will not be going back. Such a shame to let what use to be a good...

We went in when it was not busy; however even then service was super bad. When I first sat down the server rudely told me to move my menu so she can place my napkin on the table and rushed us to order. Somehow the server got our order wrong...TWICE! We ordered an omelette without white and black pudding and asked for white bread. We emphasized several times that we did not want the black and white pudding. We were served rye and the omelette came with the white and black pudding. There was a fly on our bread and they only switched out that piece. The bread given was super stale and so hard we could barely rip it in half. Also, servers need to learn how to say “excuse me” instead of shoving people. Also, the food portion was medium and not at all worth the price. Would give negative stars if allowed. Go to Fornax around the corner, much better food...

On August 1st my partner and I went to have breakfast. Upon arrival the wait staff said have a seat ANYWHERE. we opted to sit at a larger table. We were then told that we could not sit at that table. We asked was the table already reserved. The wait staff said, "no but just in case a larger party comes in you "people" cant sit here". At this point we decided it would be best to not have breakfast very disappointed and sad about her comment we left. As we drove by we could see a couple (white) sitting at the very table they said we could not sit at. We pulled over to see if more people were coming to that party and they never did.
