On our Wednesday Night Culinary 🧑‍🍳 Travels we ended up in Roslindale Village at The Village Sushi & Grill🥢. We sat outside on the Patio and were Greeted by our Waitress who was Welcoming and Helpful with Menu choices. She took our Drink and Appetizer orders for the 😋Tempura Starter, 😋Chicken on Skewer, 😋Don Shumai (deep fried), 😋Scallion Pancake, Sushi Starter, 😋Miso Soup,😋 Unagi (Eel) Sushi and an Entree of Bui-Go-Ki 😋. Everything was 😋 Delicious and Tasty. 😋 The Drinks were Ice Cold 🍷🍻. The Service was Excellent 👍. Highly Recommend Village Sushi & Grill . ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Sashimi deluxe (22 pieces and rice) for pick-up. I wasn't texted when it was ready as mentioned on their site. Half of the pieces were smaller than other restaurants'. Mostly tasteless / bland / felt water-injected. Got 21 pieces plus two imitation crabmeat pieces (not requested). Wrote in order comment not to have chopsticks / napkins as part of my packaging but got them anyways (recommend you call if you write about an allergy). $45 with tip for disappointment.

Enjoyed the atmosphere here. Totally nice place to have a beautiful lunch outside. Personally I tried the Shocking & California rolls as well as the Philadelphia roll. The fish was fresh. Aesthetically speaking the avacado was past its prime. Taste overall wasn't terrible or amazing just average. That said my girlfriend had the Chicken Teriyaki bento box and really enjoyed it. Definitely worth a try and I will say if possible sit outside it's a cool spot.

Sushi and grill is my favorite place to eat . They have good food. There sushi and soup is good. There tea and drinks is so good. I want to eat there everyday.

My favorite food is the chicken teriyaki sushi. The chicken teriyaki sushi is the best one I like. My favorite soup is the meoss soup it is hot. It comes with seaweed which is cooked. It has chicken with it. they put little pieces of chicken. I think there food should be on a big famous food show. There restaurant is down the street from my house. You can call. Then you can pick up the food from them. They do not do drop off. By the time you get there to pick up your food it would be ready. When your food is done they would put plastic grass around it and they would put this spicy green stuff next to it then this red/pink stuff. The red/pink and green stuff is really spicy . I do not know what it is for.

There are seats you can sit at. You can sit at a table a dock or outside. At night inside there is this big fish on there wall and it glows up at night. Outside at night they play music and the lights glow up. You can sit at a dock there is glass in front of you. You can see them cook for you When they cook in front of you. They would not do tricks. Above there heads is a long sword and a small sword. Then there is a dragon blowing fire out of it's mouth. There is a table next to a wall and on that wall is a little water fall. Sometimes you can pick your seats or they can pick your seats. The lights outside change different colors like red, blue and green.

There tea is green all the time. It is always hot. It does not have sugar but you can put sugar in it. The tea would not get cold in a hour. There drinks are Coke, Sprite, Water, Pepsi, Canada dry,Mount in do,Sparkle water and Tea. My second favorite drink is the sprite and sparkolk water.

My favorite restaurant is sushi and grill. The reason I love sushi and grill Is because I love there food like the noodies. There tea is my favorite drink. I love their seats. The best part is that there down the street from my house.

Ordered 2 sushi rolls and pad Thai for dinner to go for 2 people for $50. The confirmation email did not have a pickup time, so my girlfriend went to pick it up after 25 minutes. When she got there, the host said it would only be another 5 minutes. It ended up taking another 40 minutes. During that time, the host said “you could have waited at home, we text you when the food is ready.” My girlfriend asked how she was supposed to know that. The host said “well no one else seems to have a problem with it.” Just an extremely rude comment. I wouldn’t come back if only for the service.

Moving onto the food. The 2 rolls we got were ok, not great. Maybe 4/10 for both. The pad Thai was just straight up bland. No spice at all, and just boring. 2/10. For $50, it was quite the rip off.

If you value service, good food, and value for money,...

I look forward to every Friday at Village Sushi & Grill. I've been getting Beef Bibimbop for lunch for awhile now. It is served with miso soup. Normally, I love doing my own meal prep at home but I'm a busy nurse and sometimes these take-outs really feel like treats. Bibimbop can be vegan depends on how you wish to prepare. You can get tofu instead of beef or chicken. And minus the fried egg. I feel like Beef in the Bibimbop gives me enough protein which I need for the day, and of course, fried egg is a bonus! If you like something spicy, Spicy Pork is super...
