I recently visited the McDonald's located at 515 Gallivan Blvd, Dorchester, MA and I must say it was one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a fast food restaurant. The food was typical McDonald's fare, but the service, especially from the manager, was absolutely appalling.
First, the staff seemed overwhelmed and disorganized, resulting in long wait times even though the restaurant was not particularly busy. I could see the manager, who appeared completely uninterested in helping or directing his team. Instead, he was busy chatting and laughing with a friend who had come in, ignoring the growing line of frustrated customers.
When I finally got my order, it was incorrect. I politely pointed this out to the cashier, who seemed new and unsure of what to do. She called the manager over, who reacted with a heavy sigh and an eye roll. Instead of addressing the mistake professionally, he acted as if I was inconveniencing him. He barely spoke to me, snatched the bag out of my hands, and took an unnecessarily long time to fix the order.
To make matters worse, I noticed the manager openly criticizing and belittling the staff in front of customers, which was both uncomfortable and unprofessional. The poor employees looked stressed and demoralized, which is likely why the service was so poor.
Overall, the unprofessionalism and rude behavior of the manager made this visit extremely unpleasant. I hope the higher-ups at McDonald's take note and make some serious changes at this location. Until then, I won't be returning and I advise others to avoid this place if they value good...

Visited this establishment today with high hopes, but sadly, I was met with a bitter disappointment. I placed an order via their kiosk - a feature that was supposed to make ordering a breeze. Turned out to be a hassle more than anything.
To my dismay, I was billed for a complete meal, but only received a drink. The efficiency I had hoped for by using the kiosk turned into a frustration never experienced before. This mistake should have been easy enough to correct, yet it seemed to baffle the staff.
I approached the individual at the register, expecting a nod of understanding and a swift resolution to the problem.
Despite showing her evidence from my bank transaction, executed just moments ago, she flatly refused to process a refund for the meal portion of my order. I was taken aback at not just the error made, but the audacious lack of responsibility and a clear disdain for customer service.
The refusal to rectify an obvious error was beyond my comprehension. A customer investing their money, not to mention their trust, into an establishment should not be met with such a lack of care and insensitivity.
This review is not out of anger, but out of wishing for a better service for others so that no one else ends up having to face the same unprofessionalism.

Read moreI asked about what came with a breakfast meal special. I told a breakfast sandwich. Hashbrowns and any drink. I ordered a smoothie. It was extra so I cancel. I ask about orange being included, also extra. So zi canceled that too. Clearly by now my patience has worn thin and I am agitated. I this time I did not ask; I told. "Listen? I ASK you what is the special and YOU said any drink. WHAT drink IS included? She finally relpied the truth to be pnly coffee. The one thing I did NOT want...but got anyway. The other staff person, who fulfill theo orders and make the food, saw the already made cup of orange juice, that I no longer wanted, sitting but not matching to any orders she was making. She ask the cashier a couple times about but she would not answer probably that she might hear something about because it probably was not the first time she misinformed a customer and mess up an order. The cashier finally said, its no one. She may have even heard some or all of the conversation involving her screw up. She ask me if I wanted the juice as she handed it to me at the same time I took it. Glad that I still got the juice I wanted but extremely annoyed with the entire experience as a whole.
