It was the first time for us trying Korean food and we weren't dissapointed. We found this place casually, looking online while being in the area. We took an apetizer Crispy Seaweed Noodle Rolls, the Kimchi Stew, the Chicken Katsu and the Bulgogi Bibimbap. To drink we took a water and a Fruity Passion Tea with mango boba pearls. The apetizer was interesting, but unusual, definitely an acquired taste with the tansparent noodle, but I liked that it was light despite being fried. The Chicken Katsu was really good, fried and crunchy and savory without adding any souces to it, but even better with one. The Kimchi Stew was delicios, hot like lava initially, so you have to give it a moment, but it was very flavourful and less spicy that I was expecting, which is a plus for me as I don't eat super spicy foods. So if you want to try it but you are afraid it is too spicy, give it a chance. The Bulgogi Bibimbap was also delicious, I didn't expect the portion to be so big and to have such a variety of veggies. There were a mix of steamed zucchini, spinach, sprouts, carots ad probably some raddish, aroud a bed of white rice and topped with the beef and the egg, all flavored enough, but if you want they give you some sauces to add, which I did because I like trying them all. I had a very good first impression, and if I weren't living so far, I would definitely come more often to try more menu items. I also liked the service, you can order from your phone with a QR code on the table, the place seemed very clean and with a lot of natural light coming in from the wall high windows. I liked that the waiter did a very thorough cleaning of the table next to us after the big party of people left. The ambience music was ok, although I expected some korean k-pop to be there to fit the theme better, but it wasn't bad at all. The price for being so close to Boston wasn't expensive at all, we paid around 75 for all this, with taxes and tip included. I reccomend it to everyone to try it. ❤🍚

Good option for fast casual Korean food. MSG. Many Korean restaurants in Boston tend to shy away from using too much of it, likely due to its negative perception in Korea. The result? Fast-casual Korean dishes often lean heavily on sugar, which leads to a sweeter taste that doesn’t quite match up with their authentic counterparts. Sharon Korean Kitchen isn’t the first place I’ve noticed using MSG, but here, it was unmistakably in the spotlight. While some light appetizers, like dumplings and crispy seaweed noodle rolls, come pre-made, most of the dishes—especially the meats—had a noticeable MSG presence that was hard to miss. So far, I’ve tried their Kimchi fried rice, spicy beef soup, beef short rib soup, and the bulgogi bibimbap. Aside from the bulgogi, every dish delivered a crazy umami punch. I’m not opposed to MSG in fast-casual kitchens, and Sharon Kitchen’s use of it was well-executed, without being too overwhelming. The Kimchi fried rice and beef soup, in particular, were addictively good—possibly the best versions I’ve had in the city, flavor-wise. Still, it’s hard to give all the credit to the kitchen when MSG is doing most of the heavy lifting. Overall, the food here reminded me of the quality you'd find at rest stops in Korea, and that’s not necessarily a bad thing. In fact, it’s the perfect spot to satisfy my guilty pleasure for Korean fast food. If you’re not against MSG, I highly recommend giving them a try.

Ordered online which is great convenience. I had the rice cakes( Dukpogi)the spicy squid (Ojinobokum) the spicy chicken nuggets, the Japchae, and the Bulgogi. Everything was great except for the spicy fried chicken pieces. I thought they were going to be authentic Korean fried Chicken but it was really General Gao's chicken with a little spice sauce. If you like that type of chicken that might be for you but for me nowhere close to being authentic Korean fried Chicken. The spicy squid was good but they could have put thicker pieces of squid and just a little more sweetness then it would be perfectly balanced. The good news is I am definitely going to order again and come in the restaurant so I'm very delighted. My husband said that the service was so pleasant when he picked up the food so that is great news.

Having heard good feedback on Sharon Korean Kitchen, I placed an order for delivery this evening. Normally, I do pick-up from local restaurants but with a debilitating autoimmune disease limiting my capacity at present, the option of delivery was welcome.

Ordered bulgogi bibimbap, which not only was excellent, the generous order served 3 adults! Good deal! Also got steamed veg dumplings; filling was tasty, wrappers were pleasantly delicate. Also got deep-fried spicy chicken which my daughter devoured. She left some for her father and me. DoorDash was OK, but a bit slow (30 minutes later than specified, so food had cooled) despite the fact we live close to the restaurant. I'll ask next time that they ring the doorbell. Warming up the food in the microwave briefly took care of the temperature though and refreshed the food nicely.

All in all, a great first experience. I'll definitely order again and branch out. I am pleased with this delicious comfort food when I truly needed it. Thank you, Sharon's Korean Kitchen! You are a welcome addition to the...
