Thai Spice — Restaurant in Boston

Well, I was so happy when I read the reviews since I LOVE Thai food. I send my daughter to place an order for a shrimp Pat Thai and the shrimp soup, U1 in the manue. When I tried the soup no flavor at all, but hey I didn't mind, I had my pat thai, horrible taste, worst I have ever tried, ( or should I say no taste at all) the thrimp smelled horrible as well, but I paid almost $30 for that so I kept eating it and thinking never again. Then out of no where I am chucking on something, a hard plastic, disgusting! My daughter mentioned from the beginning that none of them uses globe, she said while she was watching the guy preparing the food he closed the window or whatever they have there so she couldn't see. Food is expensive and taste is bland and forget the hygiene. I usually like to leave good reviews or none, but this was a little to much and need people to know before they expend their money. I could have die if I swallowed that big thing, I even took a picture and a video in case they said it wasn't true. Very disappointed. I sent everything back of course, they couldn't argue when they saw the plastic, they asked if I wanted a new order, mmm of course not, I haven't seen my mooney going into my account, will write another review of they don't put it back. I am going back to my favorite place for Pat Thai a Vietnamese restaurant in Brighton. Lost of food way cheaper and taste delicious. Not sure why some people are saying the food is good here, don't buy it if you know...

I really do love this place but i recommend only picking up orders. They are very fast, good size portions and the food is great.

However I would have given it more stars if it weren't for their delivery system. You have to order a minimum of $15, NO exceptions, not even if it's .05 cents off. (Their minimum is a little more than most paces but not too bad). On top of that they also have a $2 delivery fee. This means your cheapest possible delivery order is $17, plus what ever you decide to tip.

It was just annoying to pay $18 + tip when i didn't even get what I asked for. I know it's petty, but I was upset because they led me to believe I had ordered one thing when in fact I had ordered something else. They led me to believe that their side of sticky rice was the same sticky rice in the mango sticky rice. It was never explained that they are, infact different. Even though I explained to her i wanted the rice from the mango sticky rice. To fill the minimum delivery I bought 2 sides of sticky rice for $4. So I was forced to buy a extra $4 of stuff because of their delivery policy. $4 that ended up not even being what i wanted because their staff mislead me. I realize this is a communication error, but it's the final straw for me. Their delivery is too expensive for me to not get what I asked for.

I will be back, but I'll never order...

We ordered Beef with cashews entree for $18.00. It was barely one cup of food. No way enough for a meal. I called the restaurant and asked to speak with the owner but he/she (DUSADEE LEE NARBUNSHART) wasn’t there. I asked for a call back but the very sweet girl I spoke with asked me to call tomorrow. She wasn’t sure of the best time for me to call. She didn’t seem to know when the owner would be coming in. Apparently the owner does not respect hi staff enough to give them a schedule and certainly does not have a process for his staff to connect him/her with a customer. Obviously a greed driven absentee owner with a do not disturb attitude. Clearly no regard for customers. Leaves the running of his restaurant to the staff who most likely are underpaid. Now it’s a matter of principle for me. I will be submitting a complaint to the BBB...
