Los Amigos Taqueria — Restaurant in Boston

Hi! This is Gwendolyn, 9 years old, writing a review for Los Amigos.

My favorite place to order from is Los Amigos. First, they have good burritos. They are a good size. Additionally, they have lots of choices for what to put in them like lettuce, beans, rice, chicken, cheese, salsa, etc.

Another reason Los Amigos is my favorite place to order from is that they make their own Mexican soda. They have different kinds to choose from like grapefruit, strawberry, cherry, pineapple, etc. They even have tropical flavors. Their sodas are very fizzy and fresh.

Most importantly, Los Amigos is very convenient. You can order online. They deliver and you don't even have to leave your house!!!

I recommend that you get delivery or do take-out from Los Amigos because there is very little seating. Do you like Mexican food like burritos or tacos? How about hanging out with friends or doing a project with a partner or a group? Los Amigos is good for hanging out in the summer because there are tables set up outside which are good for hanging out. Well if so, you should go to Los Amigos someday. Who knows you might try something new that will blow your mind.

You're probably wondering ‘’well were is this Los Amigos’’? The Los Amigos I go to is located in West Roxbury which in case you’re wondering is in Boston. If you walk/drive past Los Amigos you can see... the lights on , the people lined up and you can also see the big, inviting windows. Los Amigos has modern designs on the inside and outside of the restaurant. It’s not old-school and the big windows look really nice when the sun shines into the restaurant.

Right when you walk in the doors of Los Amigos you can smell the delicious foods they serve there. One of the many reasons I love Los Amigos is because they have more than one food. If you get tired of one food, you can try a new one or have an old favorite. One of the things they have there is burritos. I don't know about you but I love burritos. In fact they are my favorite food. So if you like burritos you should go to Los Amigos. They have a huge variety of drinks that way you can have one of your favorite drinks while eating some great food. At Los Amigos they have some sides you can try with your main dish.The beans and rice in your taco/burrito taste so fresh in your mouth you will be looking forward to the next time you go and eat there. The meat tastes nice and just the right amount of smokiness. I would recommend the tacos and the burritos they serve there.

If you have been to Los Amigos before you would know they have quick and super cool staff. The staff make it so you don’t have to wait for your food very long. They do this by making your food very fast. If you look at the staffs’ hands you will see almost a blur. The staff at Los Amigos are very kind.

I go to Los Amigos every Tuesday, but every day of the week, their food is my favorite food to eat. I recommend you to go to Los Amigos in West Roxbury.

I dropped my girlfriend and her mother off to pick up some burritos for dinner, I’ve been here numerous times and I generally enjoy the food. I’ leaving a one star review, despite generally enjoying the food, because of one staff member who consistently harasses customers. Today he decided to ask my girlfriend for her number, while her mother was ordering the food! He called her in appropriate names, and didn’t leave her alone until they left. Nobody wants to hear “let me have your number mamacita.” From someone twice their age with their mother standing next to them. It’s not only gross, but extremely unprofessional.

This isn’t even the first time I’ve heard of this employee harassing female customers, but it’s the first time it happened to my family. It’s ruined my opinion of the place, and it’s lost the business of me and my circle. Hopefully they can fix this behavior, and get rid of the problematic employee. My husband and I used to love the burritos from this place and we were loyal customers since 2019. However, they have recently increased the prices (which is totally understandable) and I don’t mind. These days everything has increased and for those burritos I wouldn’t mind. Unfortunately, today I went to pick up 2 spicy steak burritos (as usual) and after the increase they used to charge me $23.00. However, today they charged me $24.50 without adding guac or anything else. Plus, the guy put more rice at the end to fill up more the burrito and a small amount of meat. If you are going to increase the prices at least keep putting the same amount of ingredients as before!! I’m so disappointed and the cashier there is rude and gets angry if you ask her for the details on your receipt. Also BE CAREFUL!! sometimes they charge you for guac that you never asked for...
