I realize that she may be new to the job, so her lack of competence at the register is okay. What is not okay is when Estrella sniffled and then wiped her nose with the palm of her hand. I was mortified. So we tried to pay with a card, because I didn't want to touch anything she touched. But we were unable to use the card machine. Because the aforementioned lack of competence with the computer. Then she told us the total, $9.86 hand her a $20. Then she asks for 14 cents. We give it to her, she started at the computer confused, and then realized that she had told us the amount of cents she needed to give us in the change. So now she asks for .86 cents and gives us a ten back. Then when I said the change should be $11 she said yes, I'm getting it. All this after we didn't even want to pay with cash, because she wiped her nose with her hand.
Then came the part where we were putting sugar and cream in our coffees, only to hear all the employees complain about their co-worker that takes breaks when she gets in. And then they proceeded to talk about how hard the job is dealing with customers all day.

Read moreOrdered a chocolate cookie crumble creme frappe- guy told me it couldn’t be made without coffee, and I explained that it could. So, he said okay. I assumed this meant he knew. Then, I asked for a violet drink as well, and he said to the barista girl , “do you know to to make this?” And when she replied “no”, he told her it was a passion tea with coconut milk- which it is not- so I informed him and she still made it the same. And, it tasted awful- so I made sure I told her how to actually make it. Very berry hibiscus, coconut milk, and classic syrup. She said okay, and instead of her remaking it, the man said he would make it- and he crushed up the dried berries so that I would not be able to drink it. Then, my creme frappe came out- made with coffee!!! And when I asked him to remake it- he made it the exact same!! Do NOT come to...
Read moreI love Starbucks, but this is hands down the worst Starbucks, possibly the worst coffeeshop in the world. Not only is it super slow (which really matters at the airport) but the staff is super rude and unprofessional. My last time through here the barista taking orders at the register was watching YouTube videos on his phone while taking orders and at one point while in the middle of taking someone's order just walked away to show the video to a coworker. Not surprisingly a bunch of orders were messed up, including mine, but instead of apologizing and trying to fix them, he argued with everyone over what they ordered. Getting my drink made correctly took way more time and effort than it should have. It takes a lot to get me to go to a Dunkin' when there's a Starbucks nearby, but this place has...
