Possibly the worst airline in America. Booked a flight to Barcelona and they ended up charging me $380 for a lap infant. Yes, my 11 month old riding in my lap cost me the price of a round trip ticket to California. Actually I can get round trip to California for $300.
They are cheap. Their customer service is horrible.
I called Delta to modify my seats as (traveling with a lap infant) we wanted to be together. They made no attempt at moving our seats so we could be together.Furthermore when I politely but firmly asked why they could not make some simple changes the customer service agent hung up on me. Yep. I was not swearing or yelling or being rude. I was firm and disappointed. Her exact words: "This is going in the wrong direction sir. You should call back and speak to someone else" Click. This came after I complained politely that they had no good options for me and my 11 month old child to fly internationally.
They are a terrible airline. Avoid Delta at all costs. You can fly Alaska or JetBlue domestically and they are much better.

I had an extremely unprofessional experience with Delta employee John Paul Gomez during check-in at the Boston Logan Airport. While assisting us, he answered a personal phone call and threw our IDs on the counter, one sliding behind the desk so we had to reach to retrieve it. He then accused me of calling him an âidiot,â which I never did.
When I asked how to reduce the weight of our bags (52 and 53 lbs), he dismissively said âfigure it out,â grabbed the bag, and forced me to take it back to avoid paying for two bags. Despite traveling with these same bags from Atlanta to Boston to Spain and back with no issues, he still charged $100 for one bag. He also left midway to help another employee, leaving us waiting.

   Read moreThis review is for Delta Airlines and my phenomenal flight attendant Chris Murray (from flight DL125 on 6/4/25 from Lisboa to Boston) I always have the best experience flying Delta but this flight was a first class experience while in basic economy. The flight itself was smooth and comfortable and so were all of the attendants. Chris Murray specifically took very well care of me. I was not feeling well and was a little anxious I wouldnât have anything to eat on such a long flight due to my dietary restrictions and gluten allergy. Chris made sure I was accommodated by finding options aboard that were safe for me to eat and fed me through the duration of the flight. He was extremely kind, pleasant and gave stellar service. It was exactly what I needed to end my perfect trip to Portugal.
