I placed an order through SweetGreens for a client meeting that my boss was hosting. Everything was confirmed - even received an email this morning letting me know my order was being prepared.

When it came time for the food to be delivered, i was tracking the delivery person and kept getting an update that the order was delayed. The order now delayed 45 minutes and I keep getting an update that it will be delivered in "15 more minutes". Of course, the delivery person doesn't pick up my calls. I tried contacting the store, but they make it impossible to get ahold of anyone directly at the store by sending you through 20 prompts.

Long story short after waiting 45 minutes and letting my boss know that the meal is delayed, I get a lovely message saying the store has cancelled my order... Nothing to explain the cancellation and no call from the store to explain directly.

I have no issues with Sweetgreen for my boss in California, so I don't know if it's for this one location in Boston. However, I think cancelling an order when you already have a delivery person onsite waiting for the order, is a bit of an upset...

Updated Review: I have since heard a response from Sweet Green and they have rectified the situation. Not only that - they thoroughly apologized and promised to work on improving their system. On that note, I’d recommend giving this delicious place a try, especially since it is so healthy!

Original Review: I love sweet green salads but had an absolutely horrid experience here last week. I placed an online order for pickup on a weekday, received a message my order was ready, and arrived on time to retrieve it. However, it was not there - and it was clear many others had the same issue. I waited 30 minutes past the pickup time, wasted my entire lunch break, and watched as people waiting in a long line had their food before me. They obviously don’t limit the number of online orders they accept and have a terrible organization system (as order pickups with times after mine came out first), and I wouldn’t recommend coming here at any type of rush hour.

Worst of all, I emailed them last week to raise my concerns and never received a response. All in all, great food but terrible...
