To get to this Restaurant we zig zagged through parking lots and speed bumps. Finally we got there. Not visible from the road. Its tucked in the back somewhere.
The entrance is handicapped friendly. There are some handicapped spaces.
We were a party of four. Our total was a little over $120.00. We were received by Crystal L, we ordered our drinks appetizers and salads. Crystal came back with the drinks but forgot my wife's Ginger Ale. We reminded her 3 times and we also mentioned it to a different waitress and finally the Ginger Ale arrived.
My wife ordered a 6 oz. Sirloin w Coconut Shrimp(well done). She got what she wanted exactly. My Son ordered the Bourbon Salmon with broccoli. He loved his choice. My daughter ordered an 8 oz Prime Rib (Medium Rare) with a loaded mashed potato. She loved it as well...
BUT, I ordered the 12 oz Prime Rib (Medium well) also with a loaded mash Potato. Guess what? Crystal messed up again. My Prime Rib came medium rare, and my mash loaded Potato came unloaded. In fact my daughters Prime Rib came medium well.
Crystal never came back to see or ask if everything was to our satisfaction. I was so hungry that I cut my prime rib to let it bleed out and used my wife's Coconut Shrimp Bourbony dipping sauce and my creamy horseradish to lessen the medium rare taste of my meat. One good thing about Crystal, she swapped my Potato for a Loaded one.
I was so disappointed that on my daughters birthday meal I could not get what I really wanted, the way I wanted it. I had travelled from Massachusetts Cross Country to Washington to be with our daughter and realistically I was NOT about to embarrass her or spoil the happy moment complaining about the medium rare steak.
Needless to say, Crystal got only 15%percent tip. And let me tell you, I am a great tipper. I've also been to many restaurants where I was treated like a King.
Crystal doesn't get it. You treat people like Kings so they remember the treatment. This might have been am isolated case BUT on this day where it really mattered to me and my family I was not pleased.
I will never come back. I've been to plenty of Outbacks in Massachusetts and New York and never experienced this. Crystal really popped my Bubble.
Piece of advice for anyone in the Food business. A happy customer is someone who will refer you faithfully. Word of mouth business is Awesome business.
OUTBACK Staff need better training and a serious pep talk. Especially at this particular store.
I'm sorry, I feel compelled to give just a 3 Star rating. I was very disappointed. So much potential squandered. We are not arrogant or entitled people. We are extremely fair and hopeful loving customers, and very Polite.
I've run two successful businesses and I'm known for going above and beyond. I Love it when I get it back also.
Thank You!

Read moreThis is my first time at an Outback Steakhouse for YEARS. We're visiting the Pacific Northwest for a brief vacation and we're not getting a car this time. Staying at the Hilton Garden Inn and right next door happens to be an Outback, so THAT'S where we went.
We walked in and were promptly greeted by a wonderfully cheerful young lady by the name of KHLOEE. She had a great smile and attitude. She helped us out with a sample of the wine we were considering and we liked it. We tried the Conundrum White Wine Blend. I found this wine to be very good. It was fruity and crisp.
We started off with an order of Shrimp on the Barbie. I hadn't had this item for many years and forgot how much I really like it. The Shrimp are grilled and come with a Remoulade sauce and are served on top of some of their awesome toasted garlic bread.
I LOVE French Fries and quite often I indulge my passion and get some. Tonight was one of those times. I found their (plain) Aussie Fries delightfully good. They are good size but not as big as steak fries. And the flavor and texture were really good.
The fries were followed by a Caesar Salad. The romaine lettuce was tossed with their house Caesar Dressing - which had a good Caesar Flavor, and was a bit tangy. The croutons were good as well and not too plentiful. The salad was not over or under dressed which happens quite often. It's either too wet or too dry. This one was very good.
The restaurant was kind of busy and the atmosphere was quite electric. All the staff seemed to be happy and busily providing service to all the guests. The person who appeared to be the manager was walking around and assisting wherever he was needed. He even delivered our Shrimp on the Barbee to our table. The restaurant appeared to be very clean and well kept. The restroom was clean as well.
KHLOEE had to leave as her shift had ended. So our new waiter came by to help us. Her name was Sydney. Coincidence that Outback is from Australia and Sydney is a MAJOR city there. She had the same friendly, helpful personality as her predecessor.
Overall, this was a very good experience. It reminded us of the quality of The Outback Steakhouse food and service. We recently moved and I didn't even know if there is one near our house. BUT, I just googled it and there is!! Outback...
Read moreI just cannot express what an enormous disappointment we had at Outback in Bothell tonight. I remarked to my friends after our experience that every single piece in serving us our "dinner" went wrong; from the chef (was there one or was everything being microwaved?) to the cold, appetizer french fries (which they took off the bill) to the expeditor who forgot to put the crispy chicken on my salad ("Oh, I'm sorry, I'll be right back with the chicken" and handed me a small bowl for me to put the chicken on my salad, to the same expeditor who handed my friend a baked potato with only butter (even though he specifically requested "with everything" and being told "I can take it back and put the toppings on or I can bring you the toppings and I'll give you extra." By the time the toppings arrived the potato was cold. What makes this such a remarkable experience is that we are not complicated customers wanting any number of exchanges or special preparations. As a matter of fact, we are fairly simple and order the same meal every time we've come in and have frequented this particular Outback on many occasions. Unfortunately, the friendliness and nice smile of the lead waitress can't resolve the situation if they seldom come by the table to check on us. That is left to two other individuals I refer to as expeditors even though that is probably not their official title. I've already expressed the problem we had with them but one in particular is not new to us and had previously messed up the delivery of what was actually ordered. When it happens once or maybe twice a couple of months apart you think "Oh well, everyone has a bad day." But when it is happening every time you visit, I assure you aren't inclined to return to such a dining establishment. We will not return to this Outback again which is their loss because we are extremely generous tippers. We recognize the nature of the job and want to support the people that...
