I recently moved back to the area and had fond memories of the yummy bagels at Moe's. So, it was with great anticipation that I had my birthday breakfast there with my kiddo at about 10:30 on a Monday in November when he had a day off from school. I was, in a word, DISAPPOINTED! The bagels were hard and tasted like they were day olds. The staff was about as unfriendly as you could get and looked they weren't glad to see us and that we were a bother. It was just an all-around downer, although we made the best of things, sitting by the window and looking out at the pine trees and the snow falling but the cozy ambience itself just didn't redeem the lousy food and service, and both myself and my child, who isn't hard to please when it comes to a blueberry bagel, were really disappointed. I could have gotten a better bagel and cheaper lox next door at King Soopers. This is not the Moe's that I remember back in the late 90s, early 2000s for food or for service, and I probably...
Read moreAbsolutely the worst manager, Eric should never be allowed to face the public. He was beyond incredibly rude, proclaimed they never got an order, told me to contact my credit card, and dispute the charges since they never got the order or to call the website they use. Requested managers number, he refused and said he would call me back after he looked into because I was upset he told me to call my credit card company. Eventually, he gave me the managers name and number.
I finally found the receipt through the 3rd patty vendor they use, and was able to go in and provide a receipt, max 5 min later, after waiting 20 min outside for order. Order was cold sitting on counter with the poor excuse of "the receipt misprinted" ok then why didn't you call? No call back, especially with no other customer in sight. How is it that he offered absolutely zero help other than to push off to the 3rd party. No apologies or help, and not to mention the order was wrong!
Definitely last...
Read moreI ordered a Company lunch which included 15 sandwich orders. I picked it up and went back to the office to distribute them. When I opened the bags probably only 4 of the sandwiches were labeled. Some of the sandwiches were put in a little tray with a pickle which was now all over the bottom of the bag and wet. I loaded everything back up and went back to this particular Moe's location on 28th Street. It took a couple of people to root through each sandwich and mark them properly. It was an incredible mess and wasted a half an hour time enough for sandwiches to start cooling down too. The biggest thing was I didn't even get an apology. I had the sense that they felt they were being inconvenienced. I even sent an email to Moe's, and in 24 hours haven't heard a single thing back. Moe's bagels are undeniably delicious and fresh, but the service at this location was hideously bad....
