Starbucks — Restaurant in Boulder

For a coffee station I find it interesting that this location is NEVER open. I have gone here a few times over this past year due to conducting business nearby and so disappointing that whatever hour I have entered, early morning to mid, closed. Everything is on, machines are on, lights, monitors and equipment always on, but no workers. The Safeway staff could be a bit more polite when they see someone waiting in line other than never putting a simple sign up that says closed but then again, I recognize where I’m at when it comes to service. Barista was the only person working at this location. She was maybe 15 years old. She messed up our order and when we asked about it at the pickup counter she said she would have to wait on all the others waiting in line before she could fix our order. I’m sure she was stressed since she was the only one there and there was a line of customers waiting. They need to have a manager on location working with their staff so that the barista can have backup and not have to be the cashier and barista...

Sadly this Starbucks location can’t be recommended unless you’re ordering a very standard sweet drink off the menu. My fiancé and I essentially wasted $10 here on our normal orders we get with 0 issues at every other starbucks location. Moral of the story? Don’t trust a starbucks inside of another store with no drive thru. They don’t get the morning regulars like the drive thru locations do and so they aren’t readily prepared to make anything more than a vanilla...
