I would give the food here a 4 star review, as with all Deli Zones. It's good food, but there are better places to get a sub. The service here is almost always fast. There are really only two things that bother me about this place:
The first is that you can order a small sub, even though it's not on the menu. When one of the owners is manning the register, they sometimes try to get you to buy a medium. Sometimes they've charged me for a medium regardless (and one of those times I actually got a medium.) They've told me that small subs are not for men. Silly really.
The other thing is that, the owners wear sanitary gloves when making your sub. But then they keep them on when taking your money, basically making those gloves pointless. I actually don't care about this whatsoever - we should all be sharing more germs as a society. Honestly. But if they are this careless right in front of my face with something so obvious and possibly gross to some people, what are they doing in the back where I cannot see what...
Read moreI am a long-time regular at this place and I wouldn't recommend you to order here unless you hear a woman's voice on the phone. Where is the Woman who has run this place for years? She makes the best sandwich. I always order a ham and with egg cheddar cheese + mayo sriracha lettuce tomato jalepeno. When she makes it it is carefully put together, made to order, cut in half, hygienic, and she has never once messed up my order in 6 years.
The last two times I've been in, a man is running it who doesn't listen to my order, forgot to put ham in my ham and egg, put on ketchup instead of sriracha, did American cheese instead of cheddar, forgot the mayo, doesn't cut it in half, and I found 2 hairs in my sandwich.
Sorry to be blunt but I really hope the woman who has been running this place for years comes back. It's hard for me to be grossed out by a place I've been coming to for so long - if I see her I'll change my review with my apologies. She makes the...
Read moreTerrible. I paid $13 dollars for a Ruben with extra meat, but instead they gave me THREE pieces of bread to make my sandwich look larger then claimed that "thats what they did now instead of extra meat." When I returned to pick up a new sandwich, I had to fight with the "manager" who obviously didn't know any customer service and his response was "Well if you need more mean, you need more bread" I've been to Deli Zone countless times, thats not how it works. On top of it the tone of both the workers was very condescending and that is NOT how you treat a customer that paid $13 dollars for a Ruben that had NO saurkraut, three peices of bread, and meat on one side. I will...
