Sometimes, the customer service is terrible enough that the food doesnât even matter. Itâs impossible for me to enjoy a meal when Iâve been treated like garbage â it makes me lose my appetite. Thatâs exactly what happened today. I placed an online order that was supposed to be ready by the time I arrived. It wasnât ready and thatâs fine, I get that the estimates arenât always 100% accurate. However, what pisses me off is that the employees werenât even trying. They were literally eating grapes hanging out behind the register chatting while there was a line. Multiple people were waiting on coffee drinks and two employees were there just chatting away. When I asked for my order after already having waited 10+ minutes the employee said the sandwich is ready and weâre working on the drink. No they werenât, no one was at the espresso machine, I could clearly see it! And the sandwich that was ready â yes it had been sitting there the whole time Iâd been standing there, getting colder by the second. When I finally got the drink, after about 15 minutes, the egg sandwich was completely cold!
Never ordering from here again, which is a shame considering I live practically across the street.

   Read moreI love this place but today was a different experience than what I am used to. I ordered a four corners bagel and ended up getting the wrong sandwich when I showed up. No big deal. But then this is when it takes a turnâŠ.I called and explained what happened. I was in a rush trying to get the right sandwich but the girl on the phone said they were too busy. Then when I got there thereâs no one waiting for food. Thatâs so sad they have someone like that working for a place thatâs saved my mornings numerous times. I did catch a bit of an attitude due to that responseand they hung up on me. First offâŠno! Donât tell me youâre too busy to correct your mistake and expect me to be ok with that. If I was the manager, sheâd be gone. Luckily I talked to a really nice woman the second time and she helped me. And I thank her for that. I donât like getting an attitude but donât treat customers like that.

Recently I have been at the restaurant multiple times while a woman who I believe is the owner has been there and she is extremely unpleasant to be around. I have witnessed her openly belittle and berate her employees and itâs very uncomfortable to be around. She is condescending, rude, and unfriendly to her staff and even some customers.
