The Corner — Restaurant in Boulder

I gotta say:

I am disappointed with this spot. Lovely little restaurant front in a great location with prime outdoor seating to enjoy a beautiful day. Staff were very pleasant and welcoming.

The real bummer was the food. Ordered the daily special Argentinian Steak sandwich, a Caesar salad, and some drinks.

The sandwich was $15 and no larger than the size of an NHL regulation hockey puck! Genuinely two bites and it was gone. Only place my money disappears faster is at the casino. Taste was okay, but very lacking as it only features the steak, a thin spread of avocado, and a timid drizzle of chimmichurri. The caesar salad mix was likely prepackaged from Walmart, dressing too. The entire salad had three croutons.

Overall a shame to see such a wonderful spot go to waste over under portioned and...

Last minute stop made for an outstanding decision. Was looking for a quick pick up for a late breakfast and happened upon The Corner and took a chance. I always prefer to support local businesses whenever possible. There was ample parking out front on a Saturday morning at like 10, which is didn't expect. I was greated right away. The front person was energetic, efficient and friendly. She made a wildly delicious vanilla latte, and helped me decide on an eat. The breakfast burrito was significantly sized and would up serving as breakfast and lunch today. The inside texture was perfect. No mush like that other burrito place and the roasted sala added a great flavor. I can't wait until I'm back in the area. NOTE. This is not just a breakfast place so...

Let me start off by saying I love food and am not a picky eater… but this place was not worth the price of $15 for a sandwich and soup.

My chipotle steak sandwich was small and they put chicken instead of steak. No problem. Went back and said I ordered steak not chicken. They gave me my correct sandwich but barely had any steak. The tomato soup was not good at all, it tasted super sweet.

The chipotle sauce was sweet… the tomato soup was also sweet… and the pesto chicken sandwich was also sweet. It felt like they put sugar in everything.

Fries was soggy too.
