University Hill Market & Deli — Restaurant in Boulder

I loved coming here for years. I spent tons of my money on gatorades, water, food, fruit roll ups, cigarettes, medicine….

So I casually took a fork today. A man told me with hostility that “next time, no. Not your home”. So so offered a dollar for the fork. He banned me from the store. I asked what I did wrong. He refused to have a conversation with me. Sorry for being homeless. Afterwards, when I start to protest with a sign reading “Bigots inside” they claim that I disrespected them by tossing a fruit roll up back on the counter in response to a price hike. 0 chill. Food is good I’m going to miss it.

This isn’t your culture, friend. You can not force us to act how you were raised. You can make a point quietly before escalating things to this point....

I think anyone who has hung out on "The Hill" or went to school at CU Boulder knows that this place has the BEST drunk food in Boulder.

Not only is this place the only mini mart in the area that is open 24/7, it serves the BEST Philly Cheese Steak sandwiches and Gyros. Come anytime after midnight and be prepared to wait in line for one of these awesome sandwiches. They also have a whole menu of other sandwiches, but the Philly and the Gyro is what bring people there.

Don't wear anything nice there, because they don't call it Smelly Deli for no reason, you're going to smell like it for the rest of the night.

Make sure you add Sriracha to your sandwich to add a little spicy kick to it if you can handle it. It'll definitely make...

If you have not had the deli you truly are missing out. The beef gyro is huge packed full of flavor rolled properly and always always tastes amazing. I honestly can say I have not had anything bad from there but I always get the gyro. The staff are always chill happy to see you and knowledgeable about local customs culture and places. It's location is perfect for those drunk nights after a show and best of all there cheap. 6 bucks 50 for a huge gyro and a grape soda you really can't beat it and there wrap selection is in point.
