This place is definitely the kind of spot that operates on a strict "no fun until after midnight" policy, and even then, it's questionable whether "fun" is the right word. Before 1am, you might as well be walking into a black hole of disappointment where hopes and dreams go to die — or at least take a very long nap. Let’s talk about the pickle chips, which were apparently tossed out of a random brown paper bag that looked like it had just been rescued from a nearby dumpster fire. You'd think they'd have at least aimed for a plate, but no — straight from the questionable street bag to your table, like some sort of twisted culinary lottery.
And then there were the wings. Coated in a sauce that can only be described as “gasoline-adjacent,” these bad boys seemed less like food and more like a dare. I wouldn't be surprised if they came with a waiver to sign before you dig in. The best part? They ran out of chicken. At a chicken place. That's like a coffee shop running out of coffee, or a water park running out of water. You can almost hear the kitchen staff shrugging, as if to say, "Well, what do you want us to do about it?"
The only saving grace? The “chewable” ice. Yes, that's right — the highlight of this dining experience was the ice, which, by some miracle, managed to be both cold and edible. It's a low bar, but hey, it's something.
Now, I get it. I'm a 51-year-old woman visiting this establishment at 2pm on a Sunday, clearly not their target demographic. But come on, is it too much to ask for food that doesn’t taste like it’s been seasoned with regret and disappointment? I can only imagine that after 1am, this place transforms into some kind of mythical party zone where all the bad decisions finally make sense. Or maybe, just maybe, it’s all the same — and it’s the patrons who change, becoming as questionable as the food...
Read moreFirst off the service is amazing. I've been meaning to try this place out for quite some time but was never able to get in there and now I regret my decision. How about that pricing? Lunch specials 5 days a week? I challenge you to find another place in town that gives you the same quality and quantity of food for under $15
I ordered the hot honey garlic wings with fries and a side of ranch. The wings were very crispy and flavorful the sauce was the perfect blend of sweet, spice, and savory (I will admit that I personally would have liked a little bit more heat).
Now let's talk about the ranch! I almost feel like this needs a separate review. I literally have never had a ranch dressing that has tasted like this. It's almost its own sauce that needs to be its own entity. Very herby but not overpowering perfect consistency. Don't take my word for it, you just need to get in...
Read moreThe main point is the food is 5/5. The wings and sauces are quite tasty and have some great spice! The green chili tater tots are fantastic, and the spicy ketchup is uniquely tangy and delicious.
There is room for improvement however, mainly when it comes to timing of orders. The lunch special of wings and fries arrived almost 10 minutes independently of each other. The kitchen space here is incredibly limited and location traffic brings high volume, so it’s hard to blame them for not being able to get multiple orders out at the same time for a party of 6 or more, but to get an individual order at such split times between items needs improvement, which I’m sure will come with time as this place settles into its groove.
Will return and...
