Carl’s Jr. — Restaurant in Bountiful

ZERO STARS!!!

I have ordered through drive thru and via Uber Eats and each time this location has given me Coke Zero instead of the Diet Coke I ordered. I called the location and spoke with the "Manager" whom I asked to please speak with his crew about diet coke and coke zero not being the same thing. This "Manager"told me If I can't scientifically "prove with a test kit that it's not diet coke "I should shut up and some other unpleasant words. At this point I began raising my voice due to the rude comments as a response to a very simple and pleasant request. I demanded to speak with the district manager or the franchise owner. The "Manager" hung up on me. I had to call back and demand the phone number to his manager which I was given the cell phone number to another demeaning and horrible individual. Who again told me unless I had a "test kit" to prove it wasn't diet coke they won't do anything about it. I explained that diet coke and coke zero taste nothing a like and all I asked for was for them to clarify with their crew. This "District Manager" continued to talk down to me which lead to me raising my voice again. All I wanted was what I ordered and paid for. He asked if I could prove I ordered diet coke and I told him yes by the receipts from my order. I told him the behavior of him and his manager were BS. He then told me he and his crew didn't care and to go to another location he didn't want to hear about my diet coke and coke zero BS. This place continues to have HORRIBLE service. I tried to approach as kind as possible because I've worked fast food and I know how bad people can treat staff. All I asked for was clarification with the crew to prevent future issues with myself or other customers. This turned into a yelling match where I have never been treated horribly by a district manager ever! I didn't ask for money back, didn't start berating. I was met with hostility and nothing I would even compare to customer service. I want the Owners of this franchise and the Coporate office to know how this location treats its customers. This is what they have their name attached to. See if this is how they want to run...

I love Carl’s Jr.! I’ve always considered them by far my favorite amongst all the very large burger franchises. Their food and menu options really set them apart. And by far one of my favorites that will always keep me going there is the deep fried zucchini! Plus everything else there is very good. Love all the various burger options too. Also love they were one of the first to offer Beyond Meat options. That is also VERY VERY good and rivals regular beef, while saving animal lives and helping the environment. It was actually WAY better than I was expecting. In fact I can say CJ’s is the first place I tried Beyond Meat that made me order them more now at other places including buying it at the grocery stores. So now I’ve talked up CJ’s as a whole, I’d like to explain the score down on the stars. I’d give it 3.5 stars if I could, but felt 3 was lower than I’d like, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and round it to 4 instead. It’s mainly due to the customer service. I visit this location often (and will continue to do so) but it seems most of their employees could work on their communication and people skills. I don’t have high expectations for fast food employees in general for good reasons, but since I do go there a lot, I’d say their service and friendliness consistently is below average. But that won’t stop me from going there. The food has still...

My 6 year old niece was insisting on starting nuggets.. I have not been to a Carl's Jr in years.. I found the closest location. We walked in and found it oddly convenient that the restroom access was just inside the front doors, In The lobby breezeway area before entering the restaurant. We went to the restroom the entered restaurant. I waited for 2 minutes at the counter before an employee came to help me.. in this 2 minutes I never saw ANY employee in the store. There was 1 male eating and nobody in drive thru. I was literally the only order so I'm not sure where everyone was.. When I was greeted if that's what you call it, and young lady came up to the counter and just stood there.. there were no words from her! I ordered my food, and waited... as I waited... I did notice that the restaurant was in orderly manner and looked clean. But I notice fine detail. The ceiling has water damage and lots of it. The fountain machi is are discussing and had no ice.. take a good look at those! The manager or so I assume came from nowhere and was fixing g an order now being taken though the drive thu I never witnessed any handwashing what so ever...phones were pulled from pockets whe food was being handled! My food was alright. I ordered jalapeño burger.. It was so soggy from jalapeño juice and had browning lettace... soda was warm! I absolutely...
