Great place for meetings and coffee clutches. The hot chocolate is my favorite and the seasonal summer drinks are great too. I’m interested to see if they have any fun winter drinks. Maybe peppermint or eggnog. I love the designs that the baristas make in the drink. The service is exceptional and the staff is kind & helpful. It’s just a bit uncomfortable and not super warm/cozy (hard chairs and minimalistic furniture). The location is perfect as it’s right between many of the places I frequent and on my way into town on 102. They have a well-rounded selection of merchandise as well for purchase. The outside seating is nice if you move the chairs. The bulletin board is pretty cool- that provides a sense of welcoming and community. I have not had the food- cannot speak to that. Occasionally they have fun events. Like one day a biscuits and gravy fundraiser was going on, Dr. Jeff Williamson had his book signing for “Joy Cafe”. More events would be fun! Plenty of parking. In front, directly behind, or the big lot behind that one. One suggestion: Anti-slip sheeting on the side entrance/exit stairs. Also the landing. I almost took a spill one winter (yes,...

I've been a customer of Connect Roaster's monthly mail coffee for over two years (Home Run Club represent!) and wanted to check this place out when learning of it's opening. We don't live nearby but made the trip to do some hiking in the area, and came here as a mid-day pick-me-up.

We were greeted immediately as we walked in by the two staff members working, and they were very polite and funny even in our brief exchange. We had a latte and a hazelnut mocha (seasonal), which were both very good. I am not a fan of how a lot of independent coffee shops try to chase the "sour" taste of Starbucks coffee, and thankfully that's not here.

Since we dined in our drinks were served in different-sized glassware, which were nice and heavy and also well insulated.

The space is brand new, very open and airy, and seems like a great spot to hang out. Not pictured is a large back room that was loaded with people and places to sit and do work; the front half is more casual dining/lounging space.

I just wish I lived nearby, I'd be here...

Connect Roasters in Bourbonnais is the kind of coffee shop that feels like a warm hug on a chilly day. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted by the rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee and a cozy, inviting atmosphere. The decor strikes the perfect balance between modern and rustic, with warm wood tones and comfortable seating that make it a great spot to relax or catch up with friends.

Their coffee is phenomenal—smooth, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Whether you’re grabbing a classic pour-over or indulging in one of their seasonal lattes, or regular house coffee. They also have a selection of pastries and light snacks that pair perfectly with their drinks.

The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to recommend a new roast or chat about their coffee special.

If you’re ever in Bourbonnais, Connect Roasters is a must-visit for coffee lovers or anyone looking for a cozy...
