Dishonest business. Please make sure you look at your receipts. They over charged my order for things I did not request. We asked for the blizzard of the month with caramel sauce on top. Our request was too complicated for the young girl taking the order. We asked a few more times trying to clarify what we wanted. Finally she just agreed to whatever we were saying and said I’ll have your total at the window. At the window it was an adult. Very snooty. Very backhanded with her “professionalism”. I look at my receipt because the total sounds a little high. 2 small blizzards, caramel sauce and whipped cream. Then another charge for an “extra charge” item.

And please don’t mistake this review for being about the small $.80 they unethically charged me. It’s the principle. You can’t just take peoples money because you feel like it or because you think your teaching me a lesson. It makes me question how many other loyal customers your staff has ripped off.

We drove back around the order window and there were three girls that refused to acknowledge us and called for the same adult and walked away. I’m extremely frustrated, lol. I order basically the same blizzard, a cookie dough blizzard with extra cookie dough. Normally, I don’t do extra cookie dough but I’ve noticed it’s been a nationwide issue. There is just never enough cookie dough!! Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not looking for 3-4 cookie dough a bite. But I’m certainly looking to have at least 80 to 90% of my bites to have at least one, max 3 cookie doughs and it just doesn’t happen. Now, my normal has changed currently but I always stick with a cookie based treat. I picked the Double Fudge Cookie Dough Blizzard. It comes with cocoa chunks, cocoa fudge, soft serve and you guessed it, cookie dough. My blizzard has absolutely no cocoa chunks and barely any cookie dough. And I paid the extra $1.08 for extra cookie dough and it just isn’t there. I’m disappointed and frustrated because this DQ’s soft serve is top tier. It’s the creamiest ice cream I’ve had I a very long time and I think this location should do better because of that. I want more cookie dough when I request extra cookie dough. Ya know.. I’m not one for leaving bad reviews cause I try to understand. I can barely fit my truck through the Kankakee drive through cause I can’t swing it wide enough, so I made the 20 minute drive to Bourbonnais. If I’m having to pay 6$ for ONE MEDIUM BLIZZARD… I ask that it’s at least mixed, and the very least the medium cup be full!!!!!! 6$ and only 3/4 of the cup is full, unmixed and frankly melted. Which I can understand the melted part. Granted I drove home without eating it cause I had my 3 dogs with me and I was driving it was running when employee handed it to me.. I can also understand it being later at night and you’re tired but it’s not asking a lot. With everything else rising in price, we deserve at least a full cup of ice cream.. I know it’s a minor flaw compared to what else is going on in the world… but I look forward to cotton candy blizzard season! I just want to get my 6$ worth and my diesel worth...
