I indeed called corporate this morning and explained this situation to them and they told me between 24 and 48 hours, a regional manager will be contacting me. However, I STILL wanted to post this review to properly emphasize the rage I felt during this incident. So, I truly hope that corporate takes a lookat these reviews as well as return my call and respond accordingly. On July 12, 2024 around 11:30am, I called this location to place a 12 pizza order for my son's birthday party that occurred the next day. I spoke to an African American young man, he took my order, offered me free ICB topping on the pizzas due to my large order, and gave me a total of $102.38. As any parent knows, day of the party, I was running around getting a number of things in order. I started calling this locationnoon. Wasn't getting an answer. I later assigned my friend the duty on picking up the pizzas on his way to the party since he legit stays around the corner from this location. I then proceeded to call again because I wanted to ensure the pizzas were going to be ready at my 2pm pickup time. No exaggeration, I called this place over 20 times within a two hour span. As I continued to get no answer, I decided to stop what I was doing and swing by the store because I was worried that they weren't opened. I pulled up to the store and it was opened. I went inside and told the person at the counter that I had been calling for the last two hours and all I wanted to do is ensure that my order was on schedule to be picked up by 2pm. This was approximately at 1:30pm Saturday. There were a total of 3 individuals in that store; A HISPANIC MALE, AN HISPANIC FEMALE (WHO DOESN'T SPEAK ANY FORM OF ENGLISH), AND AN AFRICAN AMERICAN MALE WHO LATER CAME TO THE FRONT. He proceeds to explain that their phones were down they didn't have an order in my name. As expected, I became enraged with anger! I'm telling him that I spoke to an African America man just yesterday, he took my order, gave me a price, and ensured that he would put the order in with free ICB topping and the pizzas will be ready for pickup at 2pm. The person at the counter basically said to me that the order wasn't put it and he cannot give me the free ICB because the employee should not have offered that to me. He also went as far to say that an African American man was not working at that location. I then asked to speak to a manager. Unfortunately, he was the manager. HIS NAME IS ALDO! As me and Aldo continued our back and forth of him telling me that he is not responsible for what happened to me, another employee named Luther (an African American male) came from the back to intervene. I said to Aldo, "I thought you said there were no African American males working here?" He responded saying that he meant there was no African American man there working when I allegedly placed this order. At that point, I became even more furious because I knew at this point, it was his word against mine. He heard both sides of what was going on and proceeded to confirm that I indeed called on the day before, placed the order, and an African American male named Jonathon was the one who took the order. He also proceeded to ask the manager why he couldn't accommodate me based on the situation. . Aldo told Luther that I was lying RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY FACE. I said, are you serious? I said isn't this the 375 Main location? ALDO replied and said he didn't know the address to location. YOU ALL HAVE A MANAGER WORKING AT THAT LOCATION WHO DOESN'T EVEN KNOW THE ADDRESS TO THE BUSINESS. Aldo had no sympathy to my situation and proceeded to ask me if I wanted the pizzas or not. There were even other customers coming into the store witnessing what was happening and truly felt bad for me. Only because the Kankakee location was not answering either and I had a bunch of hungry kids waiting on me, I got the pizzas. Aldo charged me full priceso I didn't get the full ICB topping as I usually do. I will never patronize this location but if corporate does nothing about this, I will not be patronizing this...
Read moreOne of the worst experiences I have had in years. Placed an order online since they were not answering the phone which should have been enough to go somewhere else. The website said approximately 14 minutes prior to ordering. After ordering two pizzas and one crazy bread, the estimated pickup time stated 45 minutes. After arriving to pickup, there was a line outside of frustrated customers waiting for their order. After finally getting inside and to the counter the employee who came to the register said the order was not ready. I asked how much longer and they said 15-20 minutes. I then asked if the order was already being put together which they stated “no”, so I asked for a refund since I no longer want to patronize this establishment after numerous problems in the past. Things went downhill really fast when they said they can not refund the order and I would have to call the corporate customer service line to request a refund since the order was online. I asked for the number which they could not provide even knowing there would be no refund at 7:00PM on a Saturday considering customer service hours are likely Monday-Friday. I then asked for a manager which they said was not there. I asked who was in charge of the shift and they said nobody. I asked to speak to a manager on the phone and they said there is none. I asked to speak with the owner on the phone and they said they are not allowed to call the owner. At this point there was not much left to do but wait for the order since they refused to refund and I knew I would be wasting much more time speaking with customer service to receive my refund Monday. 15-20 minutes later I received my order and left. The employees were extremely level headed and polite doing their best under terrible circumstances. This location is terribly mis-managed, a disgrace to the brand, and demonstrates unethical business practices. I will not return to this location and certainly would never...
Read moreGot two pizzas and crazy bread, ordered online. The crazy bread was all very very thin. The pizza is wayyy too thin and looked barely cooked. We were running errands, so we placed the order online because I had an online coupon to buy one pizza and get one free. We arrived there about five minutes later. Absolutely no customers, so They def had time to take their time and make this order at least look halfway decent. Some pieces had barely any cheese. Last time I was there, about six of us waited in the lobby for like thirty minutes with 6 or more employees behind the counter, 4 of which stood around talking and scrolling on their phones, doing absolutely nothing.
