Came in with my family and ordered. My wife ordered fajitas which came with meat and then a plate of rice, beans, guacamole and cream. We were served everything except all of her sides. We asked for them and they said it would be right out. The food was fine but then after 20 mins we realized that patrons who came after us and asked for the same platter had already gotten their sides and tortillas and we asked for hers again. She had taken two bites of her food as she waited and they still didn’t bring them out. Finally, we just asked for a refund because the rest of us had finished eating and she hadn’t even gotten her whole order yet. They tried to only do a partial refund because there had been a few bites eaten. It wasn’t even noticeable. They argued about it and finally I talked to the manager and got the full refund. I'm so, so excited about this place! I had high hopes when I saw it was going to be opening near me, because Bowie really needs more diversity in its restaurants, and I was thrilled to be getting a non-chain place. They exceeded my expectations! The food is fantastic - flavorful, fresh, a good variety of options, made to order. The gentleman who took our order and rung us up is apparently the son of the owner/chef, Sandrita herself! I love that it's a family business. He was very friendly and helpful. The food here is Always Excellent! Also, the service is very good. This is a family owned and run business in the local community. You can taste the love in every dish. I highly recommend the food here. The rest rooms are clean and well maintained; however there is a peculiar odor emanating from the restroom. The closer you get to the restroom the more noticeable the odor becomes. In my opinion, it's not their fault, but it definitely takes away from the dine in experience.
