My cousin and I had a "Girls Day Party" with 20 invitees and we planned a menu that included seafood. As it was easier to get all of the food from one place, my cousin ordered a fried fish platter, 100 crab balls, 50 salmon balls, chicken tenders and a wing platter from Crab Galley. We visited the store to place the order. Approx. $350 worth of food = with discount it came to $320. We've had fish from this establishment before and our Aunt purchased a fish platter two weeks earlier and reported it was still good fish. So we felt confident in placing the order. On Saturday she picked up the order and returned - as we setup the venue we noticed that ALL the food was the same dark brown hue. The skin of the chicken wings was flacid and lacked any seasoning. The chicken tenders were a mess - overly breaded and soaked in grease; same with the crab and salmon balls and fish. They provided condiments for the platters in tiny little containers like you'd get for an individual meal. There were at least 30 various little containers; but a quart of sliced lemons - go figure. Needless to say 99% of the food went uneaten. Pizza was ordered. Kudos to Ledos!
When we attempted to contact them we were told that the Manager was out on a crab run. We tried back and explained what was wrong and we were told that we needed to speak with Joe. Well, Joe wasn't there and they didn't know when he'd be there today tomorrow or the next day. Clearly, they had no interest in speaking with us.
I'll only say this. Never again. They have lost a customer. BAD FOOD. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. i'D GIVE THEM A ZERO...
Read moreI normally purchase my crabs in Baltimore, but I decided to try a crab place in the Bowie area. I wish I would have stopped at a place that was closer to Baltimore. I purchase two dozen of medium crabs from the Bowie location. The crabs were small, light, had no taste and most were mushy on the inside. There was seasoning on the crabs that were on the top of the bag, but none on the middle or the bottom of the bag. I had already arrived to my destination in Baltimore and could not make it all the way back to Bowie, so I tried to re-season the crabs and that did not help. I had to throw away the crabs. I did call the store and was told to bring them back, but Bowie is definitely not close to the part of Baltimore I was at. The crabs were not fit for anyone to eat. I should have known something was wrong with the crabs because most crab places don't give you a half dozen free when you buy two dozen. You don't get something of quality for nothing. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME PATRONIZING THIS PLACE...
