“MY FIRST AND LAST TIME PATRONIZING THIS LOCATION”. Both my mom and I wanted to try the boxed lunch option, of which she nor I had tried in a while, so we decided to patronize this location. Upon entering and greeting to whom I assume was the Manager along with another young male, we began to look over the menu and inquire verbally about the “lunch box” option. The associate a middle aged African American Woman, began to explain the options/protocols relative to purchasing the boxed lunch with such a unwelcoming, cavalier tone and approach. At this point my mom who’s close to seventy years of age but looks like she’s in her fifties, looks at me with the IS SHE ADDRESSING IS IN SUCH AN UNWELCOMING WAY??? By this time I had to respectfully and assertively advise that we are not sure of the options relative to purchase and that’s why were asking specifics. To be frank, the experience wasn’t pleasant and we felt rushed prior to purchase. Low and behold after our purchase, I had to re-enter the location to advise that my specific meal was not prepared per my specific request, whereas the Manager began to question and verbally debate what I as an adult professional and consumer, initially requested relative to my order. Keep in mind, I’m on a strict diet after having sustained a massive stroke a few years ago. After my departure, both my mom and I agreed that we would “NEVER” patronize this location again, due to what I deemed an “unfavorable business/consumer interaction”. I’m one to be very stern when it comes to protocol and standard relative to business and in business, one should always make and or attempt even if your having a questionable day, to always give the impression that your attempting to make said customer(s) feel welcome. This Manager DID NOT!!!

The food is well worth the price. The lunch combo is $14.99. Nice selection of chips and beverages. The beverages are in a cooler instead of fountain style. I prefer that way. (You don't have to worry about the top popping off your drink while you carry it) I ordered the turkey sandwich and tavern club. These are hearty sandwiches. Made to order! The meat is carved just right and stacked neatly with the lettuce, tomato, mayo. The turkey sandwich has this delicious mustard that reminds me of a spiral cut ham! The sandwiches not only taste great, they are prepared carefully and pretty. If my food isn't attractive and appealing, it's a turn off. I like the fact that you can customize your sandwich- swap the cheese for another type, request no onions, etc. I will be returning for another fulfilling lunch. They also carry boxed rum cakes. I recently purchased a ham from HoneyBaked Ham in Bowie, Maryland, for $75, expecting the high quality this company is known for. Unfortunately, the ham I received was disappointing — it was mostly bone and fat, with very little actual meat. Feeling dissatisfied, I attempted to return the product, only to encounter horrendous customer service.

The manager was extremely rude and dismissive of my concerns. While I was open to a compromise, such as paying for a portion of a better ham, they refused to accommodate me in any meaningful way. A quarter of a ham is simply not worth $75, and the experience left me feeling disrespected and frustrated.

I will not be returning to this location and urge others to think twice before purchasing from them. Quality and service should match the premium price point, but sadly, this was far from...
