Iām not sure whatās going on with Chick-fil-A but the food and to-go service has taken a huge hit over the last year.
Letās start with the service: When this location first opened it was amazing. Two drive-thrus made getting in and out super fast but for some reason, about a year ago they changed the drive-thru to one lane for traditional drive-thru ordering and the the other for pickup orders. It seemed like ordering ahead on the app would be the way to go. Turns out I was wrong. When you order and pay in the app, they donāt start preparing your food until you arrive and scan a QR code, so basically it removes the ordering and paying in line, which is super fast anyway. This leads to sitting in line to pickup your preordered food and watching people in the other line order, pay, get their food and leave while you sit and wait because someone preordered a large order that wasnāt prepared before they got there and is holding up the pickup line. This has happened both times Iāve tried to use it which leads me to ask: WHATāS THE POINT OF ORDERING AHEAD OF TIME!! So, they made pickup orders slower and people ordering traditionally being limited to one line and slowing it down also. What a stupid decision.
Now the food: I donāt know whatās going on, but the fries taste stale and have a weird aftertaste. The chicken has been off. I canāt put my finger on why but itās not right. It could have been old the couple of times Iāve been in the last few months but itās supposed to be freshly made when I get there which is what takes so long in line. I donāt know but at least the lemonade is still good so that saves them a starā¦
I always loved Chick-fil-A so itās a shame that longer wait times for lower quality food will keep me away but I guess thatās the way...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTee-Totally awesome experience today! Curb appeal is high. Clean inside to include the restroom. Welcoming, friendly, and thorough staff at the counter. Ordered a spicy chicken sandwich meal with unsweetened iced tea. After ordering, I took my drink and orange placard to a high top table. My mid-afternoon lunch arrived in minutes delivered by a appreciative and well-mannered staff member. Haven't been to a Chick-fil-A in a while and I enjoyed the hot waffle fries and then the spicy chicken sandwich with Pete's hot sauce. Another staff member circulating the dining room asked me if I'd like some more tea. Pretty good timing and I thanked her afterwards. Time to go and taking my tray, I'm looking for the trash bin. Not seeing them. Another look around and Ispot this cabinet with a closed panel near the exit. Is this it? It's been a while at a Chick-fil-A and I've not seen one of these yet. 𤣠Get close and the door panel opened. In went the trash. Pretty cool! š¤

Ā Ā Ā Read moreMake sure you check your order before leaving for take out, mobile order, drive thru etc. They forgot one of our chicken sandwiches from the mobile order line. No big deal, I went in right away to grab it.
They were very kind, apologized and said they would make it right away. I waited another 10 minutes or so before another employee asked if I had been helped. I said I had and was just waiting. He asked what I was waiting for and said he would take care of it right away. He did thankfully, but that tells me after waiting a while in the lobby and having to be asked a second time I was likely forgotten about.
When we got home, we realized one of the burgers had been made wrong, and we didnāt have any straws. Not a big deal, but still kind of annoying after everything else.
