I’ve been to this location a couple times and everything went well until earlier today. I ordered cookie dough and the Samoa ice cream double scooped. I am allergic to peanuts which is why I ordered the cookie dough and not cookie dough with peanut butter!!! I started eating my ice cream and noticed that it tasted like peanut butter. I walk up to the counter and tell them that they made a mistake and added the cookie dough with peanuts. The girl at the register made it seem like it was my fault because I didn’t let her know I had an allergy, mind you I’ve been to this place a couple of times and nothing ever happened. I ask the worker for a refund and she’s on the phone with her manager for a long time without trying to speed up the process, knowing that I’m having a reaction to the peanuts. All the workers behind the counter didn’t even care to help, instead they just looked at me as if I was crazy. The girl who made the mistake putting the peanut butter cookie dough didn’t even care to apologize… In other words I will be calling corporate and I will not come to this location again! Read moreOh man. Very disappointed in my experience today. Long story short, I rode the motorcycle to the Wooster Street Location last week while my fiancé attended a baby shower. The Oreo Flurry was as expected, no big complaints on the quality. I really wanted to take my little brother for a visit yesterday evening, June 8th. As we were walking in, an older gentleman was leaving with an order and there were two other patrons eating on the patio. A small business at work! Yes, they were getting close to closing time, about 849pm. We walked up to the woman at the counter and smiled, no smile returned reminded me it was the same woman who served me last week. I asked if it was too late for a couple milkshakes, she said yes, it was too late and they were closing up. We thought she was joking. Unfortunately no, she said they weren’t serving anymore and that they were closed. A final thought, in today’s economic times, you’d think a small business would accept any business even if it means you’ll have to re-wash an ice cream scooper or re-rinse an ice cream blender.
